Had a friend in town and she wanted to eat here. It’s Cracker Barrel — contrived simplicity which is created in China. Saturday morning so there was a short wait. Servers almost always are personable and capable. Since I’m allergic to eggs and do not eat pork, choices are always limited but they do oblige and serve me a burger with hash browns that were cold today. A quick and friendly replacement was made. I prefer local and not chains but necessity played a factor. Food was good, service was good but I just can’t get into it.

Not the greatest. Got the sirloin and eggs… Steak tough and over cooked. Needed to-go box, server didn’t come by in ten minutes, had to flag someone down.

After I was seated, I waited for about 10 minutes and nobody wanted to take my order or even acknowledge my presence, so I left.

Cracker Barrel has always been a great choice when I have eaten there. Our server was super friendly. Breakfast was great.

The waiter made the experience perfect. We had a younger kid who was so polite and attentive! He was probably the best waiter we have ever hear. The store is clean and food delicious. Only thing so so we’re the corn muffins.

I’m not a fan of Cracker Barrel, but the food is ok. I don’t get the waits. Somebody must like it. I have been numerous times, but would never wait a moment. I can’t say anything bad, it’s just ok.

Love it! I enjoyed my meatloaf dinner and turnip greens very much. Everything that we had is delicious! The server I had is delightful, although I forgot her name. After you are done eating you pay in the gift shop area. You can then include the tip on your receipt as well. The feel of the restaurant is very southern and homey. It is rare that you can find a place that is in a southern state and says southern cooking with good turnip greens and cornbread. It also has a rustic feel going on in the gift shop. I love coming here every time!

Came here for late breakfast, found hair in my pancakes. Looks like it’s not the first time.

I live close to this Cracker Barrel so we have been there a lot. The last three meals we have eaten there have been terrible. First off it took more than 30 minutes to get our food. My husbands food was cold and had to be returned and my food had a hair on it. When they returned my food the eggs were not cooked. This is the third time we have found hair in our food at the cedar bluff location. Why we kept returning I have no idea. The only positive thing is our waitress was very kind. We will not be returning here. Please check your food before eating!

I know what to expect from Cracker Barrel. So, after a long drive I decided to stop in for Dinner. First the positive: After ordering my food was delivered promptly. That was the only positive. Negatives: even with plenty of empty tables, I was stuck on a corner table by the kitchen. Not a great place to be considering the large amount of sneezing and gossip going on. My server was very friendly and polite, just not very quick with drink refills. Food was about what you expect from Cracker Barrel. Maybe I caught them on a bad night?

It’s just what you’d expect from Cracker Barrel. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing to get excited about. I was stopping by on a road trip, and needed something to eat, so this was it. I have to go with a 2-star because Meh is exactly how I feel about it.

A trip to the east requires a Cracker Barrel! My first breakfast while in TN, located close to our hotel. Service here is always warm and friendly and the store and restaurant always has so much character. I went with the old timer’s breakfast, minus the grits. 2 egg whites, biscuits with sawmill gravy, 2 sausage patties, and my favorite hashbrown casserole. I also had an apple juice, and coworkers said the coffee was good as well. Our food came out promptly. My side of egg whites was not fully cooked, and my sausage patties were overcooked and did not taste well. However, the biscuits and gravy were super tasty and the hashbrown casserole was unbelievably delicious. Prices here are so reasonable and the food is incredibly yummy. There are also random knick knacks in the store where you pay for your meal. A must go to when visiting the south/east.

Its Cracker Barrel. They are all the same. You either love it or you don’t. I love it so am happy to give this one tip: get the steak biscuit at breakfast and thank me later!

Who doesn’t love Cracker Barrel??? If you’ve lived under a rock the past, oh 30 odd years and you don’t know what Cracker Barrel is, get in your car and drive on the interstate a few miles. Follow the billboards, you’ll find one. Hash brown casserole is by far the best. I love their biscuits, too. They aren’t greasy. If you happen to stop at the one off of Cedar Bluff exit in Knoxville TN, the best servers around are Angel, Tammy G, and Beth. I grew up here in the south, so when I moved west to Phoenix for a spell, Cracker Barrel was my comfort food. Sad, maybe, but the food’s still good :)

I love everything about cracker barrel’s food. It’s country and a bit much just like me. Just about every time I go I get the Grandma’s Sampler. It’s not on the menu but includes 1 piece of ham, bacon, and sausage, eggs, 2 pancakes, and hash brown casserole or baked apples. You can substitute the meats for various things. I get all that for a whopping $ 7. There is usually a wait but who cares??? There are rocking chairs everywhere and a tacky store selling all the gifts you hope your grandma won’t buy you.
