Carmike Movies 7

The latest movie-​going experience here is a vast improvement over some of my more recent trips here.
— They FINALLY installed digital projection at this theater.
— The sound has been fixed. I can actually hear the movie now!
— Crowds are still a problem, but hey, this is expected when the movies are only two dollars.

You get what you pay for. Literally. Yes, there will be crying babies in the theatre. Yes, there will be sticky floors from drink spills. Yes, there will be non reclining chairs. Yes, it may smell like old hot buttered popcorn. For $ 2.50, this is what you get. The sound quality may be a little off but is it what it is.
Maybe you are better off renting from the redbox or netflix. If you’re open to a night of people watching and okay movie seats, come here.
Oh, there’s a Big Lots next door. Maybe, just maybe, I’ll go buy some candy to sneak in.

The price of the movies overall are a great price $ 2!
Carmike come on! I don’t know if the other Carmike theaters are like this one or if it is because it is cheap. The theater itself is so run down it’s sad honestly. The theaters to actually watch the movies are small and the combos are expensive. The staff so far are nice though.
I hope they can redo this theater to make it more enjoyable in the long run it needs it bad.

You can not beat the price or the combo deal. But the seats are uncomfortable. It’s an old theater but it’s worth going to. I would recommend it.

Great place to see a movie… Most of the movies are on just before they hit dvds sales.
People are generally considerate and do not sit in front of you if there are other spaces
I love the price of $ 2.50 a ticket. I hate paying $ 10.00 for a ticket unless I really really want to see it right away.

On a tight budget? Have a family of 14 and don’t want to spend $ 10 000 at the local cineplex? Carmike Movies 7 might just be the ticket.
Carmike Movies 7 shows second-​run movies at a discount price. The movie tickets are only $ 2 each, and they often have special deals on concessions.
The down side to this budget deal is that the theater is a tad musty, rundown, and the seats are sometimes not perfectly clean. The projectors seem old in some of the theaters, as the picture quality seems dull or a bit dark. The staff seems mostly friendly, though, and that goes a long way.

I agree with the other reviewer, this is a great place to see a movie for very cheap. $ 4 gets you a movie ticket and unlimited popcorn. The movies are generally a few months older, but that’s not always a bad thing. As of right now, you can still catch WALL-​E there!
