Awesome dental experience. One I can’t wait to try again. Which means a whole lot since I was literally tortured by dentists as a child and wanted nothing to do with them for a very long time.
It is actually a bit ironic cause my initial interaction with this dental group was anything but pleasant. Thanks to a very awkward and mostly inappropriate receptionist when I tried to make my appointment. But it all got better from there. Way better
I was seen shortly after my appointment time. My hygienist (Alison) was exceptional. She did a fantastic job and kept the conversation going the whole time. She told me everything she was doing and made recommendations based on what she found. Dr. Nabers showed up pretty much as soon as she was done. He had reviewed my radiographs, took a quick look at my arcade and gave me a summary of their proposed plan. The whole experience was very professional and super friendly.
The office set up was very modern and intriguing. Loved the exposed brick walls and the modules that separate each dental suite. The lobby was a little small but I didn’t spend very much time waiting in it. I was seated in a chair that gave me a massage the whole time, got a paraffin wax treatment on my hands and had a warm comfy neck pillow. Definitely a first class spa experience. I actually felt guilty taking time away from work to see the dentist.
They accept a wide range of insurance and are super convenient. You can park across the street in the Visit Knoxville parking lot. Just be sure to go inside and get a 2 hour parking permit which needs to be displayed on your window. Pretty sure the doctor doesn’t work at the downtown location every day but they have a fairly flexible appointment and can generally work something out.
Super fantastic experience that I cannot wait to repeat :)
