Beautiful location. Easy to judge to try all of the wines. Liked the white and the semi sweet red. They have done a great job with making the Vineyard and deck area great for seating and enjoying a glass of wine. Very relaxing. Definitely a great place to stop.

Located not far off 50 Hwy, Montserrat Vineyards is a hidden gem. This is the second time I’ve stopped in, but this time I actually got to look around. From the front, it looks small, but if you walk around the back there are places for bands to play and plenty of seats for people to come and enjoy music or even just take in the scenery of the grapes or the hills(they say it’s the tallest spot in the county). The guy working the counter is fabulous and made us laugh the entire time. The wines… the only bad I can say is I wish they made more. There were 5 different types of wine, all wonderful. I had a really hard time trying to decide which ones(yes plural) to get. Even with just a few wines, they have a wide variety for everyone. I will most definitely be coming back… and a great stop on the way to the lake!

So impressed. Really awesome to find this was the highest point in that location, which made for an amazing view. The guy who helped us out was hilarious, very kind. Im with Erin S.‘s review in that the only downside to this winery, is that there is only 5 choices. All of them were fantastic!
