Lisa Dee’s Florist

Awful experience.
I, along with three other members of my family, called (unknowingly that the others were calling the same florist) to order flowers for my grandmother’s funeral Sunday. I called at 2:30pm just to inquire as to whether or not it was too late to have flowers delivered to a funeral at 4pm the next day. The female who answered the phone said, «uh, no, we close today at 3pm» and hung up. HUH???
I asked other fam members at the funeral where they ordered their flowers from since I was unable to secure any in Knightdale where the funeral was held. They too, talked about having a horrible experience when calling Lisa Dee’s and went with a national chain number. I called a national number after I could not find any other local numbers to patron, too, and was able to secure the delivery with no problem. When they were delivered, the note said that it was delivered from Fallon’s in Raleigh. Kudos to Fallon’s for getting the job done for us.
A friend told me that they recently had some flowers sent in sympathy to another family and the family told them that they never received the flowers. When she called Lisa Dees to check on it, she was told the flowers were «undeliverable», but she was still billed. WHAT?
Stay away from Lisa Dee’s. They obv do not have it together.
