Seriously average food for way above average prices. My boyfriend and I stopped here after a cold night of camping in the rain. We wanted to drive through the redwood down the street but we’re starving so we stopped for a bite. I was immediately shocked by the prices. Keep in mind this diner is the only real restaurant food for miles. The food was pretty average. I can’t complain about the taste but the portions were rather small. I honestly felt that I needed to write this review just to people passing through a heads up on the mediocreness.

I love this place. No frills place for grub. We usually stop by for breakfasts, which are straightforward good! Nothing gourmet or fancy, no special décor in the place, or anything like that. Not much more to say. Plain ol’ yummy diner food. I do love the Emus in the field nearby!

Came here for breakfast as a break for campfire food while camping in the redwoods. A welcome treat — standard small town diner with solid breakfast. Omelette was great and hash browns were killer. Considering all the salmon in the area we were hoping for some smoked salmon and eggs on the menu, but that’s our big city ways, I’m sure. This a very sold option, nothing fancy, if you’re looking for somewhere to eat in the area.

Standard small town diner fare. The food was completely unseasoned, but cooked surprisingly well. I had eggs and hashbrowns, and my boyfriend had fish and chips. The fish was perfectly cooked and moist with a great crunch. There aren’t many options in the area, so I would recommend this place, although it’s nothing outstanding.

Add this place to the list of Northern California restaurants that are not worth spending money in. Maybe they have better options than what we ordered. We got a cheeseburger which tasted funky, not even sure how to elaborate on that. Also ordered a grilled cheese, not even sure how you can screw that up. The cole slaw was just too mayonnaise-y and tasted a bit rancid. The service was quick but we were the only ones in there which should have been our first clue to leave(in retrospect). The employees were all talking and complaining loudly which doesn’t add to the dining experience at all.

Don’t let the outside and neighborhood fool you, good food is tough to find in this area. At the log cabin diner you get what you pay for. Pretty tasty burger and fries. The sweet potato fries were also good. The breakfast looked killer. The inside of the restaurant would probably not be approved by my grandmother, but if you’re staying in Klamath, this place is a good option.

Pretty good for a little town. Except for all the flies. I don’t know why restaurants insist on keeping the front doors open.

Excellent. Good Service and Good Food. We stopped on a whim and was able to park our RV in the lot next door and had a great lunch. I think the places off the beaten path are the ones to stop out and my family was not disapointed. I totally recommend! Our fries were perfect!

Perfect pit stop between Patrick’s Point and Crescent City! The service and food were great and we enjoyed the quaint ambiance. Definitely recommended.

YAY! there was a place in Klamath open for breakfast! Honest to goodness diner food. It’s simple, it’s fine. Server was helpful with some info, but not exactly warm. I liked my breakfast burrito and the server was accommodating with my no-meat request. My partner wasn’t too fond of his food(too bland), so I shoved some salsa his way.

We were a group of 6 people and what we thought to be in the middle of nowhere turned out to be one of the best places we have been to. The staff and the cook were very very friendly and personable. When we told them we can’t eat meat, they were very happy to accommodate us in whatever way possible. And I ended up having one of the best ‘Breakfast burritos’ ever.

I drove to this diner on a Monday and arrived at 2:02PM, hoping to get a late lunch, only to find that: They are open only 8:00 — 2:00 They are closed on Monday and Tuesday. So, I didn’t get to eat here. Maybe another time.

Honestly, I didn’t find anything any special about the bacon burger I ordered. The BBQ sandwich was good, but the coleslaw was terrible. Barely any dressing. I mean, how hard can it be to make coleslaw? This place is okay if you’re hungry and don’t want to drive any further, but if you could I’d recommend driving on.

We are staying in Klamath for the week and stopped at the Log Cabin Diner for breakfast on Sunday. We got there right when it opened at 8am and within a couple of minutes it was quite busy! The food was GREAT — I had an omelette and my husband had bacon and eggs. The hash browns were perfect. The service was really good too — the one waitress was quite busy but made sure everyone had coffee refills and all they wanted in a fast manner. This is a great local place to eat! Definitely visit when you’re in Klamath!
