Yo!(The Philly«Yo,» not the hip hop«Yo.») this place is a great find here in the South. When you walk in, it feels like you are walking into a shop in NE Philadelphia. This place is so Philly! Eagles and Phillies hats strew about, and the owner had a BEAUTIFUL Philly accent. For 5 minutes I was home. The pretzels were awesome! I ordered 3 «Philly» pretzels. I want a pretzel flavored pretzel, not no cinnamon or almond! These pretzels tasted identical to what you get up north. Even the bag smelled like Roosevelt Blvd. My only issue with this place is that I walked in around 2pm, and I could not score one hot out of the oven like you do in Philadelphia. But the reason for this is because this area is not giving them the business to keep the fresh pretzels coming! If you live in The Outer Banks, or you are visiting, go get a pretzel! Support a local business that needs your support.

The pretzels are really good! It’s located in kind of an awkward place but it is worth stopping by.

Awesome fresh pretzels. The pretzel dogs and sausages were delicious as well as the pretzel crab for the kids friendly service fresh and delicious. This is a great place to have a snack or pickup breakfast while on vacation.

Loved the different pretzels(i.e. crab, twists, knots, etc) & the pretzel hot dog. The different kinds of sauces you could choose for them were fun too. Overall good flavor, but when we went in the early afternoon, the pretzels were fresh but not necessarily soft. The place was difficult to find because it’s in the middle of a random strip mall(with not much else notable in it), and not the greatest signage, BUT prices were very reasonable. Make sure you take your pretzels with you though because there was no seating inside, only 2 wooden benches outside. Overall, fun trip and good pretzels, but would’ve been nicer if they were warm and softer.

Better pretzels than you can get in Richmond, that’s for sure. The guy behind the counter was kind of standoffish, but really, the goods speak for themselves. We got two pretzel knots and three regular pretzels, and the pricing was great. My husband got a cinnamon sugar braid– that thing was way overpriced… but it was all good, and worth stopping in. no complaints here.

This place is a tad hard to spot from the road. The pretzels were made that day, but we rolled in during the afternoon, so they weren’t that fresh. I got a tiny bavarian pretzel and rubbed all the salt off. My sister and mom got no-salt pretzels and my brother and dad got cinnamon sugar braids. They didn’t have any when we were there, but the lady there was so nice and made them right there for us! Making = taking an existing pretzel braid, spraying it with butter spray on both sides and rolling it in a large container of cinnamon sugar. I wish I wouldn’t have seen the behind-the-scenes process, but I wasn’t eating them. My sister really liked them, but I wasn’t really a fan. It wasn’t as soft as I would have liked, and I didn’t like the salt. When we went the first time, they were sold out of the«Ghost Crab» pretzels. We went again on our way out of town and picked up two crab pretzels. They looked more like octopi or spiders than crabs, but they tasted alright. That’s when I asked if the man behind the counter was«Jim» and found out that it’s actually a chain from Pennsylvania. The charm that this«small local shop» had wore off after that.
