4 of us went to Hampton NH for a fishing trip from Boston(we flew into Boston from Denver)…Our captain says we should drive a few more minutes away to Maine and go to Roberts for dinner. We added a third state to the day and took a chance. Not disappointed. The mixed drinks were tasty and potent. I wanted Maine lobster lobster and bluberries. The lobster roll was epic, and the blueberry crumble was great! The captain was right.

Best steamers i had in a while. They soak them in there own juice with Alagash white beer. That’s super amazing. Then they serve it with butter in the side that you don’t need but still should use for enhanced flavor. There lobster roll was good not the best. And there clam chowder is pretty good. The steamers really stole the show for me. I want to come back and try the raw oysters. I heard they are half priced on Mondays.

First time visiting this local tourist staple. Locally-sourced oysters were the perfect starter. I opted for the lobster slider and fish taco from their starter menu, also. Miss Mary went with the lobster roll and onion rings. We both had their traditional New England clam chiwder, too. This version is the real deal and would have made Marjorie Standish proud. Perfect melding of all the elements that make this NE standby one that natives and flatlanders keep coming back to. They pour their drinks the right way, with plenty of alcohol. Great service made our first visit, a memorable one. We’ll definitely be back when in the neighborhood, again.

My mom and I ate here a few weeks ago. The building is so cute on the outside and it’s very nice on the inside. It felt really fresh and clean. Instead of the usual bread and butter for the table they gave crackers with some sort of chipotle lime dip and it was so so good. I wish we knew how to make it. We’d go back just for that dip. For appetizers I ordered crab cakes and my mom ordered fish tacos. Both were very good. Just beware that the crab cakes come with a salsa that is quite hot. A little goes a long way. For entrees I ordered the lobster mac and cheese and my mom ordered the grilled scallops. Only complaint is that the lobster in my lobster mac and cheese was a little chewy. Other than that everything was great! We would definitely return.

Adorable interior. Has a great outdoor seating area overlooking the bay. The Kale soup was delicious! My husband ordered the lobster Cobb which was well worth the $ 25 price tag! They don’t have a dedicated fryer for those with celiac but they baked my daughters fries that came out perfect along with a gf roll with her hot dog. We’d return!

Lobster sliders. Lobster sliders. Lobster sliders. Lobster sliders. Great staff. Welcoming and friendly. Pretty good drinks at the bar. My mother had grilled salmon on a bed of lettuce and said it was marvelous. I had a humongous grilled cheese sandwich with fries. Too much food. I wanted to go with the lobster sliders, however, but would have finished my meal to quickly to let my company enjoy their meal. The lobster sliders(3) are a meal itself, even though it’s only an appetizer. They do have miniature desserts, however, which is pretty cool!

Okay… For a place that charges $ 7.50/small slice of cheese cake, one would think you would have a clean sugar packet holder. In addition, the glass crock that held the silverware and napkins had crud at the bottom. Food was good; however, the thought of dirt ruined the flavor.

Came here for a Wedding Rehersal party dinner on a Friday night. They accomidated 40+ People(This was unusual they had to negotiate a minimum) The food was delish. Usually you will come upon 1 or 2 apps that re bad or OK at events for lg groups. I came upon 0. Everything they cooked for the group was awesome. Crab cakes = Da Bomb Lobster roll was everything you want in a simple lobster roll but you dont get. Mashed potatoes were great, Scallops were cooked well and not overdone and chewy. Clam CHowder was great I put a lil of the local Maine hot sauce in it that just set it off. I can’t wait to go back here to update my review nd try more of their food. Staff was friendly

I don’t impress easily as demonstrated by my other reviews, but this place is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. For all the other posers out there trying to run a restaurant it’s pretty damn simple and these guys nailed it! *Service –Attentive but not fake or overbearing. None of that acting like your my buddy and bending down on one knee. Very polite and timely! *Food — PERFECT, fresh, well cooked, served HOT. Quality was top notch! *Price — Not cheap, not over expensive — bullseye! *Atmosphere — Again, nothing fancy, but the cleanliness was OUTSTANDING! I will be back!

Came back for more!!! Tried their crab cakes and it was incredible, I loved every bite of it. It came with 2 pieces and made with real crab meat, the seasoning was perfect. The mac and cheese that I previously wrote about, was horrible this time around. Something about it tasted off, maybe the cheese? It was bitter this time, yes, bitter and I couldn’t finish it. sadly. I would have gone back to tell them but I had it to go. I would still come back for their seafood. Enjoy!

The food is excellent, especially the fish sandwich. Crisp fresh lettuce, nice roll, perfectly fried haddock, very fresh. The fries here are amazing. the seafood is the best in the area! Thanks to Taylor Lobster Co. when dining here, sitting at the bar is fun and engaging, and table service is top notch!

Right by the Kittery Outlets is a stand alone restaurant in the form of a blue lighthouse with its own private lot with some self-parking spots and a free valet parking option. It is a seafood restaurant by the name of Robert’s Maine Grill. After a short wait, our party was led upstairs to a table by a window view of the water. Instead of bread, we were presented with a plate of crackers and spread to tide us over as we mulled over their menu. We started our lunch with a large order of Steamers in Allagash White Beer $ 21. The clams were fat and tender, and basically grit free. According to my sister who had previously dined here, their seafood casserole and lobster cobb salad were good bets. And Robert’s will split certain dishes in the kitchen if you ask. Two of us decided to share the Harrigan Casserole, fish, Maine white scallops, shrimp, potatoes, carrots $ 26 while the other half of our party went with the Lobster Cobb Salad $ 25. While the casserole arrived in two smaller casserole dishes, somehow the same splitting request for the salad got lost somewhere between the table and the kitchen. The salad was adorned with a good portion of fresh lobster meat. The Casserole was filled with fresh seafood in a milky sauce and covered with a flavorful crumb topping. It was good, but a bit too much creamy stuff after the New England Clam Chowder $ 7/$ 9. The chowder was a bit thin but well filled with chunks of potatoes and clams, though it could be served hotter. We needed something to dip into the sauce and so asked for some bread. It arrived nicely decorated with grill marks, but was oddly served cold. At one point, we accidentally dropped the little dish of lemon we had requested for our waters. A lady swooped in to pick it up, and even asked if she could bring more over. Yes, service was terrific. And their seafood is quite fresh and tasty. They have wi-fi with a password; just ask!

Just a perfect meal. The lobster slider was very good. Although a bit too much bread lobster was fresh. I tasted both the fish chowder and clam chowder and honestly thought the fish chowder was better. A bit lighter but slightly sweeter. Not a thick chowder. The Mac and cheese is a steal of a deal. That itself could have been a meal. Creamy and slightly complex in flavors. The hidden gem here is the mussels. Order the large as your entrée. The mix of flavors is intense but rich. It’s got a nice wine base. Wish I lived closer!

It’s kind of random to find such a great dining establishment in a row of outlet stores. But nonetheless I was happy we decided to come and try it! It has quintessential New England décor paired with an amazing water view. The service is very friendly. We came on a Monday for lunch and guess what! Buy one get one oysters! Score! Awesome way to kick off our Maine vacation. We had two of everything and liked them all. We tried their smoked variety. It had the slightest hint of smoke but wasn’t too special in my opinion. I prefer the grilled kinds we get out West. We also had a hot buttered lobster roll, clam chowder and onion rings. The onion rings fell flat. The batter was a bit thick and they were under seasoned. It comes with a sauce but it still could use an extra oomph. I loved the chowder and lobster roll. The chowder is creamy without being thick, just the way I like it. So flavorful. The lobster roll looked small when it first came out but turned out to be just right. You can get a jumbo if you’re starving. Perfect large chunks of pure lobster meat, tastes so so good! You could see the claw pieces which is my favorite, it’s not the more finely chopped kind of meat mixed with anything else. Hot buttered is totally the way to go to bring out the best flavor in the lobster! We will definitely be back again next time we are in Maine. Great experience!

Cute homey atmosphere and convenient if you’re shopping at the kittery outlets. Definitely try the lobster roll if you come There’s a raw bar if that’s your jam! —complimentary crackers and cream cheese to start: a very lobster shack feel —Small lobster roll with a side of clam chowder: the lobster roll was definitely tasty! Just doesn’t beat my fav in Manhattan Luke’s lobster —baked haddock: bland They offer a $ 143 course meal on Tuesdays and Wednesday’s if you’re looking for a deal!(I didn’t try any of my dad’s pork loin or pie though and his Caesar salad was standard) NOTE: it’s by the water but it was so dark during dinner I didn’t really notice the view

On a lobster hunt from Boston to Portland, and what’s better than a little outlet mall shopping on the way? We asked the ladies @ Coach where to grab a lobster snack, and they said Roberts for the lobster sliders… We were in! Ordered up the lobster sliders(3 for $ 19), a pound of little necks($ 16), and a cup of chowder($ 7). The sliders were great! Think little tender buttermilk biscuits overflowing with lobster meat! The little necks were a mess(I know, my when in Rome mentality took me away from the mussels!), and the chowder was great(served in its own little coffee cup). Overall, a nice experience… But not 5-star in food quality, quantity, or service. Here’s the rundown: Satisfied? Yes Return? Yes Advocate? Yes
