Great location! Inside is nicely decorated and the waitstaff was very friendly. Food was excellent and we can’t wait to go back to try their chicken and waffle night! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a nice local spot!

Came with a large group on NYE and had a fantastic experience. Server was very nice, drinks were delicious and the food was amazing! We tried many things, but the pot pie and croquettes both really stood out. Would definitely come back!

I have to state right away that the 5 stars are definately for the location and the views, views, views! It does not get any better than this spot on a summer night out in the chairs facing the water. Heavenly. The interior is very industrial and super cool. Just fun to sit there a look around at the unique décor. The menu is short and interesting. A bit«foodie» for my taste, but yummy stuff just the same. The chowders are excellent. I wish there was more to choose from and simpler fair.

What a day to go carb free for dinner at the restaurant. Jumped straight into the entrees and ordered«three little pigs». This was pulled pork with apple sauce(reminds me of Bobby Brady saying«applesauce and pork chops»), pork belly and chicharron. This was a delicious combo, tender pork all around and a filling meal. I also shared the halibut. This came with a almond butter and preserved lemon, I tasted a hint of mustard although it never existed. The halibut was tender and moist, another tasty entrée. These two items made for a complete meal, no carbs and no desserts! The lunch items looked good as well.

Amazing Brussel sprout app and great burger with chilled pickled salad. I split all with a girlfriend and it was plenty! Will definitely go back again!

We ended up here at the last minute when we found out our dinner choice for the night was permanently closed. Just across the bridge from Portsmouth, it is easily accessible and has a great outdoor seating area overlooking the water and looks like it is relatively new. The dueling clam chowder(cup each of Manhattan and New England) gives you the best of both worlds and was chock full of clams. The three little pigs, of pulled pork, pork belly, and crispy skin was just okay and a bit rich for my taste. The halibut on the other hand was moist and flavorful. Overall, good but not great.

Went here on a Monday night because no other restaurants in Kittery are open in Monday. After standing at the hostess stand for a solid five minutes with lots of staff walking by and no one acknowledging our presence, we were seated by a very unfriendly host. He gave us our menus and a bottle of water to pour ourselves. I know this place isn’t fancy but it’s pretty standard practice to pour the water for your guests, not make them do it themselves. After ten minutes of being seated our waiter finally came over and we put our entire order in, drinks and food. Fifteen minutes later still no drinks when we were sitting right next to the bar, we decided to leave. If only suggest going here if you like horrible service and a weak beer list.

Beer was good but could have been colder. Ordered hummus with pita bread and pita was moldy. We were told that never happened before, didn’t finish the app., still got charged! May go back for beers but that’s it!

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and thought this place was pretty good! Sat on their little patio outside(only 4 tables) and ordered a couple beers and their classic lobster roll. It was huge and served on a potato roll I think? Really good, would definitely go back!

Great beer list, great food. I also like the feel of the prohibition style interior and that they pay homage to that in the classic cocktails on their list. My wife and I had dinner on a busy Friday night, service was very friendly even on a busy night. I really like what they are trying to do menu-wise as well, giving us great comfort food at a great location. Look and if you are a tourist, you can’t eat lobster rolls and seafood every meal right? Why not have the classic waterfront view with some comfort food.

Fantastic lunch. Excellent and interesting menu. Not your average lunch/dinner place. We enjoyed Caesar Salad topped with prime rib, Coconut-curry Quinoa and Crispy Brussels(the most amazing Brussels sprouts ever!)

happy to see good beer from Hop Nosh to coal porter. Good was pretty decent had the smoked bay scallops and mussels and the rabbit pasta dish. Didn’t love the over all feeling of the place and the fact no dessert menu. Bar tender wasn’t pleasant to us either seemed annoyed we were there.

Gem of a place hidden in plain sight right across the bridge. Great unique food and awesome beers. Outside seating overlooking water. Nice portions, fair price. Bonus is a beautiful walk over the bridge or there is adequate parking. Brussels sprouts we delicious and huge portion.

Been wanting to try BBP since it opened. Finally had the chance. Fun urban atmosphere. Good drinks. Friendly, attentive service. Interesting, eclectic menu. Definitely something to please most anyone. If your looking for a fun, causal night out you can’t go wrong here.

Cute place… Hubs and I ate at the bar. The dueling chowders were very good! Hubs got a burger and I dined on a lobster BLT which was a generous portion of very beautiful lobster meat! Washed it down with a few glasses of vino. Great lunch spot

My first time here, and I’m impressed. Great drinks: classic cocktails at great prices($ 7-$ 14). Tasty menu of apps($ 5 — $ 8) and medium plates($ 10-$ 23). Cozy, but warm and welcoming atmosphere. Great service. Great menu. Love it. I’ll be back. Totally worth the beautiful walk over the bridge.

Not a mistake but not overly impressed. Not to misguide you, but the following was my experience. Heard a great review of BPP on Saturday afternoon and decided to experience it that same evening. Expecting a experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly hostess who informed us there would be roughly a thirty minute wait, no problem, but we could enjoy cocktails from the bar, even better. So far, so good. Meeting expectations, up to now. I decided on a honey bacon bourbon w/sage bitters, black pepper and lemon concoction, but this was a mistake. The bourbon was not infused with honey, rather the honey was infused with a hint of bourbon.(Way too sweet) Infused bacon, rather a cocktail embellished with a slice of cooked bacon and left at room temperature so the coagulated fat which when submerged in the cocktail could dislodged itself from the bacon and floated on the top as I sip from the 6oz rocks glass. Oh right, the sleepy black pepper… One two punch to the back of your throat when you sip a bunch of this! Minus 1 star: When the table was ready, the lovely hostess came over and guided us to the seats. There was three options, sit across from one another and one of us look into the bathroom as the revolving door opened and closed with patrons relieving them selves, sit side by side and both watch the bathroom or sit side by side and star at the front door and people waiting. Largest issue here was Having to listen to the couple near us as they only had option one, someone stair into the bathroom, continually complain about the«ambiance». Minus ½ star: .5 stars. Onto ordering the cuisine which I was excited to try: — Starters: hand cut fries — Asian duck bun sliders(meh, wouldn’t do that again), spouts. — Main course: Ribeye w/broccoli and potatoes — aka ½inch cut of meet and overpowering butter flavor, duck breast w/couscous and quinoa — duck was great, couscous and quinoa not so much. Lacking in flavor and identity. Overall rating: I would return to the restaurant if the menu changed or provide a quality of food that demands a certain price. ½ inch cut Ribeye for 23 $ is not a dish you want to be remembered for.

Great new spot in kittery. Creative cocktails and tasty bites. Had the dueling chowder which was great and the lobster Reuben which was unique and very impressive v
