I really was hoping to be able to give this place a better review but I was a bit disappointed. Live music outside gave a nice ambiance on a Saturday night. Service was ok. Staff wasn’t overly friendly but our drinks stayed filled. Our servicer did mess up and bring our entrees before our appetizer so we told her to cancel the appetizer since it hadn’t come out. She did the right thing and brought it anyway and comp’ed the app so kudos for that service. Food was ok. It was really hot outside so everyone just got sandwiches. Two of us got the fish(grouper) with substitution of broccoli for fries. Flavor of both were good. Pretty traditional flavors but blackened seasoning was good and I could taste the spice which I expected with blackened seasoning. Broccoli was $ 1 upcharge, which I am used to an up charge when I sub items, but $ 1 for 3 pieces of broccoli was ridiculous. At least give me a full size serving and not 3, literally 3, pieces of broccoli. My friend got the steak sandwich which he said was good and very tender. So it was a decent experience but I was expecting more when I saw the restaurant had almost 5 stars. It was ok, just not 5-star worthy.

Food was prompt and good! The service was friendly so there isn’t anything I can say negative about my experience here. Quick refills on drinks and the appetizers are large enough to be a meal. I kind of regret ordering two since I got filled off of just the tostoné bowls(which were tasty by the way.)

We usually come here when my husband is wanting lobster bisque. I have enjoyed pretty much everything I have tried; the bolognese(when it is offered), the beef sliders, the pesto chicken ciabatta that was the special today, they are all yummy. Service is fantastic, Eddie is very personable and friendly!

We ordered the Lobster Bisque and Beef Sliders as our starters which was extremely good. As for our entrees we had a Meat Loaf and Tilapia Salad which both orders were to die for! We highly recommend this place and will be returning as their newest regulars! Thanks again Eddie for the amazing service! A new discovery for me… Savion! The food is fantastic! Flavor just bursts in your mouth! The chef/partner owner came out to chat with empanadas filled with deliciously seasoned meat. We shared the Lobster and Mac cheese and it was so good two of us nearly devoured all of it while our 3rd member was posting on Facebook.(She paid attention after that!) The lobster bisque was flavorful though could have been hotter. I had the Boston salad. Another had Chicken Fried Salad(something special about the dressing — the chef would not reveal his secrets); our 3rd member had chicken Pesto and linguini. All of it excellent! Prices are good. Beer and wine only. Jazz playing in background. We’re told there is live music on Thursdays. Very cute interior with outside dining as an option. I will definitely be back.

Attracted by the sound of live music we found this place. In front of the restaurant was a live band playing sax, drums and a keyboard. Luckily we got a table outside. For diner we had the day special 2 course menu. The entrée was a beef bruschetta that was very tasty. The main course was a see brass. Very tasty so I would recommend eating here.

I found Savion’s Place by comparing reviews across Tripadvisor, Unilocal Google etc and it is consistently near or at the top. After a $ 10 Über from Star Island we found this delightful nook with a live Jazz/Blues quartet playing outside. They were extraordinary and it was only the beginning of an amazing experience. Reviewing the menu, it was clear that this was no franchise chain using frozen food to speed delivery of a mediocre meal. With only a handful of carefully picked choices of appetizers, entrees and desserts that should be theoretically fresh, we ordered a $ 12 bucket of 5 beers and chicken & beef empanadas. The light flaky pastries were stuffed with beautifully seasoned meats and accompanied by a fantastic aioli. We then ordered steak pasta and a steak salad respectively, but only after my original order of an Ahi Tuna Salad was sold out. Both of our steaks were seasoned and cooked perfectly, and sliced to present on the meal. My wife’s pasta was cooked to perfection in a wonderful gorgonzola cream sauce with a side of amazing onion rings. My steak salad had the freshest greens and grape tomatoes I have ever had and tangy balsamic vinaigrette We finished with creamy Key Lime pie and a nice ice cream topped lava cake. The real topper of the evening was the thunderstorm that drove every one including the band off the patio and into the restaurant, creating a truly intimate experience. Easily the best food of the trip and Mike provided excellent service. A must visit if in town

Today I went to Savion’s Place for the first time with my husband and another couple. It was empty when we first arrived for dinner and later the place was busy. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. I ordered the grilled salmon and sweet potato mash and asparagus it was all very delicious, especially the salmon very flavorful. My husband had the meatloaf which I tasted some and it was really good nice flavor and moist. My friends had the steak sandwich and grouper fish which they both loved their meals. I tried the lobster bisque since I read so much about it, actually I wasn’t impressed I’ve had much better actually the lobster bisque from Wawa is better in my opinion. Overall I would certainly return the ambiance and the food was great as well as the service!

Overall it was good, not quite what the other reviewers had experience wise. The place was immaculately clean, and the waitstaff(Emily and Mike) were very friendly; unfortunately they were so busy the service took longer than I think it should have. Mike was out waiter, but Emily and the nice older lady(I assume the owner) did most of our waiting. The food was good, the lobster bisque was every bit as good as the other reviewers mentioned. I had the lobster and shrimp linguine and it was ok, but lacked in basic flavoring; add some salt and pepper and it was perfect. Over all it was good food, and I’d go back if I had the option.

Great service, yummy food, and food prices! I could eat here daily… nothing fancy but very well refined and fresh! Our server Eddie was amazing and friendly. The«from scratch» Key Lime pie is Terrible as you can see from the picture! Parking was a challenge, but we were in a big truck, all in all this place has my vote

Enjoyed a great dinner tonight. We live local and often do into downtown kissimmee for the local events. Today after reading reviews we decided to try Savions place. We was greeted immediately and seated. A young man approach us and asked for drinks and gave me a wine menu, specials where informed. A second server stopped by to check on us to make sure everything was fine, as she informed us she was still training the first server. We order the lobster bisque to share it was excellent very rich. Next I had the fish of the day grouper was normally served with rice and broccoli. I asked to substitute rice for a vegetable and was told no problem but there maybe a up charge which is fine. This is only negative I was charged $ 2 for 4 small pieces of asparagus! My husband had the cheese stuffed chicken breast which was good but not much to be found of the stuffing. It was nice to sit outside afterwards and listen to a band playing some old school music

Nice ambiance, live music, wonderful staff, friendly chef. anything you can ask for when having dinner. Not just any dinner for us, we just got engaged! Everyone was so nice & accommodating. We called in for reservations, & when we arrived, they had a table ready with decoration & candles. We had lobster bisque( Unilocalers were right when they said it was delicious!), my fiancé had Skirt steak with chimichurri sauce, & I had Scallops with sweet potato mash. Every dish was made so well, our plates looked like they were licked clean! At the end of our dinner, they brought out Carrot cake on the house. The chef/owner came out throughout the night & chatted with each guest to see how everyone was doing, which was real nice. Definitely a place we’ll come back to when we’re in Florida again.

Unilocalers had such high scores on this place so my expectations were high. Natalie is great and guided me through the menu! I had skirt steak with chimmachuri sauce, cilantro rice and black beans. Hubby had the special of the day– paella. His paella came with a lot of green and red peppers, which were not on the long list of ingredients. Once he had those picked out(and properly on my plate) he dug in. He said it was wonderful. Wish I could say the same for my steak. Skirt steak should be cooked at a high heat and not for long. I ordered mine Rare thinking it would come out medium rare, which would have been perfect. It was shoe leather. The only color on this was the green sauce on the top. The cilantro rice was well executed and the black beans were overly salted. However, the flavor of the beans was worth packaging. My black beans never turn our that good. If I mixed them with the rice, the salt was not too overpowering. Not a 4 star yet. All in all, it was a nice experience but I wish I’d ordered the soup and sandwich. Lobster bisque and a meatloaf sandwich sounded tempting. The presentation was beautiful, the wait staff friendly and attentive and the place cute. I guess that’s why people give it more stars. That’s why I did.

Freshly made delicious meals. Grilled Salmon salad is always so fresh. Portions are good size. Also their Happy Hour menu is daily 3pm to 7pm or 8pm to 9pm. Great customer service. Always feels at home. Great outdoor seating is always pleasant. Definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner when in the Downtown Kissimmee area.

Kim F. Was our server on our first visit. She was wonderful and made it a great experience. The dishes we tried were all amazing. I had the meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes.. awesome. My wife had a steak sandwich which was also really good. The lobster bisque is to die for. We tried the lobster Mac appetizer for $ 5 bucks on the happy hour menu… totally worth it. Make sure you save room for the key lime pie. You won’t be sorry.

This place is amazing! Natalie’s service was exceptional. The food was unbelievable! I can’t wait to return to the Orlando area to visit this restaurant. We enjoyed the lobster Mac and cheese, smothered chicken fingers, crab cakes, lobster Alfredo, jambalaya, and salmon. The added plus was that we were there during happy hour and our waitress made sure to inform us of that!
