Red Brick Pizza

Pizza was tasty, but restaurant was dirty, tables unclean, many condiments empty. Not a good impression. When we came in on a Sunday night, it only looked like 2 young ladies on duty.

This place is now CLOSED!!! I am not sure how to delete the Business…

We were attracted by the gluten free pizza. The crust was not your normal ore-​packaged crap, but rather a quite tasty gluten free crust. Plenty of choices of toppings, sauce and cheese. Everything was very good and very fresh tasting — we would go back in a minute if we were in the area again.

After spending some time next door my girlfriend and I were getting hungry and this place caught our interest. Upon walking in I was reminded of a similarly based restaurant by the name of Redstone. I was told this was a scaled down version of a joint of the same name. The décor was inviting and the place seemed very light and casual.
We ordered a half hawaiian, half beef large pizza and some cheesy bread. We sat in our booth and watched the tube while we waited. The pizza was good, especially the hawaiian but nothing special or noteworthy. Everything was just.good. Nothing more and nothing less.
I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a quick bite before, between, or after shopping at the loop who are in the mood for some pizza. I wouldn’t drive out of my way for it but if I’m in the area and craving some pizza at the time I’d stop in again.

I’m usually in search of the best NY style pizza outside of NYC. I went into Red Brick Pizza knowing this was not going to be NY style and I walked out pleasantly surprised anyway. We ordered a Veggie Gourmet Works pizza and it was loaded with toppings. Not a plain spot anywhere on the pizza. The flavor was great and the crust was very good too.
I am not a big fan of most of the franchise pizza joints, but this one was really good. I want to try some of their other creations during future visits. My wife also enjoyed the Gelato.
