I was here for a small parade for the Puerto Rico day celebration yesterday. The venue was nicely built with a large space for events. I only attended the outside, but from what I saw was satisfying. This place was huge and looked very nice. I didn’t experience the entire venue/stadium experience, but I believe it will be satisfying. The only downfall I experience was the parking staff. They didn’t seem to know anything about the event. This is not related to the business here because they were third-party. I can’t wait to come back here to experience the stadium.

Compared to the other spring training venues no pro team appeal at all. My high school baseball field was much nicer we did however caught a great game Stros vs Yanks.

Very small, almost a throwback, spring training stadium. I’ll break this down into pluses and minuses: Pluses: Intimate seating — All fans are close to the players and you feel like it’s really a small ballpark. Players love to interact with fans. Kids can see their heroes up close. Autographs — Hands down the best place to get autographs of the Astros. Down the left field line is the Astros clubhouse and players are willing to stand on the other side of a fence to sign autographs until just about all get a chance. Tailgating — Is encouraged, easy to sit out in the parking lot and have lunch before an afternoon game. Ushers/workers/volunteers — Everyone you meet at this ballpark is very nice and helpful. They are all genuinely glad to be there and want to help you. Very refreshing and it makes you feel like family. Location — Very close to Orlando Airport, all the Disney Parks, not too far from even Tampa or other cities. Lots of restaurants and attractions nearby. Minuses: Logistics — Limited restrooms just behind home plate, only two access points to the stadium seats, concessions vary depending on expected crowd, and can be limited Food/Beverage prices — It would be nice if these were some more relief from major league prices. Beer selection — The only craft beer was Red Hook IPA. Need some Shiner or Yuengling for variety. Neutral: Parking — As of 2014 was $ 7, not bad, but it’s really not in a high traffic area. There is plenty of parking and it’s all close, so that’s good.

I had a great time seeing the Astros & Phillies play in a spring training game here. The parking costs $ 7.00 which isn’t horrible. The stadium seems small so every seat in the house is great! The food selection is typical of a baseball game but fairly reasonable in price. It isn’t a very high tech stadium like others I have been to as far as the scoreboard and stuff goes, but overall I had a wonderful experience for my first spring training game.

This a great place to see some Pro level Baseball, especially during spring training. Just about every seat has a good view, it just depends on the kind of experience you want to have. Also, you may be able to catch some of the players for autographs before or after the game. Overall a good stadium to have a good old American experience. Come out and catch a game, it is a good deal.

Great stadium. Easy to get to, on the main drag. Limited food selections. $ 5 parking. No other option, as there is no street parking leading to the area. Go Stros!
