Oriental Market

I went there for my first time and apparently it’s for the last time. Yep, they’re closing and everything was being sold at half price. Sad to know. Hopefully, they will go back in business one day.

We were on vacation to visit relatives and were about to return home, and we stopped by Oriental Market in the late morning on Monday 09/​14/​2015 to buy some fresh fish to take back to Virginia. The owner, who speaks perfect English unlike the other Asian market up the street, was very helpful in selecting the fish, which was very reasonably priced. He also packed the fish in our cooler with ice and salt so that it would still be cold when we arrived in Virginia the next day. Note to the owner: Thank you, the fish arrived in Virginia in perfect condition when we got home about 7 pm 09/​15/​2015. This is now by far our favorite Asian market in the Kissimmee area. We plan to make this store a regular stop when we retire in Florida in about 8 years. My wife, who is Filipino, and I cannot say enough good things about this store. To the owner: I’m sorry that I did not get your name. I hope your business goes far when word gets out about the above and beyond quality of your customer service.

Very nice market with tons of stuff and friendly people.
They have things you won’t find in regular supermarkets like: different seasonings, fresh fish, exotic fruits, dried and frozen oriental stuff and a lot of stuff in between.

We visit Kissimmee area every summer with our camper and I was looking for the staple asian store that I can get my groceries. They just opened this store on the first week of July ’15. Very clean doesn’t have funny smell like other stores. Well stock of South East Asian items. I like to see more Japanese & Korean stuff in future! The couple who own this store were super nice people. I got this feeling of they care about customers and things they sell. I will definitely come back to this store.
