Stay away! Worse experience I ever had. I will not be going back. I am 38 years old and haven’t had teeth problems and they told me I had a gum disease and 5 cavities.
UPDATE: my other dentist I used to go to before I moved said I had NO cavities and certainly no gum disease! I am NEVER going back and I don’t appreciate this dentist making stuff up just for money! stay away!!!

I’ve been going here for about a year. Karen the hygienist is great although I’m not sure if she is still there because last time I called to make an appointment they said she was taking time off for personal reasons. They are very very thorough. My first appointment I thought was just a cleaning instead was a new patient appointment which was over 2 hours long. They did millions of tests and x rays and took pictures etc. even though I was very annoyed at the time in glad I at least have those diagnostics to look back on.
My MAJOR problem with this dentist is that they up sell you so many services that you don’t need. When you are a patient sitting in the chair and they’re insisting you need certain things you feel a little powerless. If you say no I always feel like I’m careless and don’t care about my own health. After never having any cavities in my life I was told I had 3. I waited over 6 months then got them filled because I felt that might as well do it preventatively. I told friends of my that I went here and have them the warning about the up selling and they tried to tell my friend who never had a cavity in 37 years that he had 6. He’s someone you can’t pull a fast one on so he insisted that he take his file and said he would go to another dentist to confirm his 6 cavities. The dentist immediately back tracked to say oh well they won’t say that you have 6 they’re just preventative. Very sneaky.
I have them 2 stars bc their technology and equipment is state of the art. Just beware of the up selling. They’ll push cavities, fluoride treatments, whitening, deep cleaning, etc on you that isn’t covered by insurance.

This was the worst experience I have ever had in a doctors office at all. Right from the beginning, one of the doctors tried to diagnose a health issue which is hereditary out of the scope of dentistry. Once they completed a basic exam, they choose a root canal. This was suppose to take two hours, which was a little long. It ended up taking four and a half, having to bring in another doctor who had to take over. I felt unsafe for the majority of the appointment. Even after four and a half hours, they needed me to come in again to finish. Another hour and half to two hours. At every appointment, they kept hounding me to set up a new patient exam. After the first time, I declined due to not knowing my schedule. The seventh or eighth, flatly declined to get out out of their as fast as I could. Worst part, I’m still having challenges with this tooth. I would leave zero starts if I could.

There are some issues with appointments being kept. This has been something that has happened since I first started coming here — unfortunately my hygienist doesn’t work much and by the time my appointment rolls around, her days have changed and I need to reschedule. This used to irritate me but I guess I’m just used to it now. Everyone here is good and nice.

Hygienists and Doctors are constantly trying to up-​sell all kinds of extra service; special fluoride treatment, advanced oral cancer screenings, veneer cosmetics, restorative work that may be needed someday but you are told you need it right away!!!
Hidden charges not explained! Get a cleaning once, including having the Dr. examine you is $X the first time. Same cleaning and exam 6 months later is $X+50. Of course NONE OF THIS IS EXPLAINED before treatment or when walking out the door.
SENT MY ACCOUNT TO COLLECTIONS due to some billing snafu AFTER IT WAS PAID IN FULL! Then tried to get me to pay a $ 15 collection fee!!! No call, no email, no nothing… Told me that their software can’t handle contacting people about bills or send them electronically? What???

I’ve had no problems here, Dr Nelson is very good and the staff is great too.
