I went to Eyeglass World because of their advertisements. I haven’t been to the eye doctor in quite some time and was very pleased at how attentive and friendly the staff was. The problem that I had when I was there is that I spend a lot of time picking out frames and finally selected a couple of pairs(by one get one free deal) and was prepared to spend $ 200 on my frames. However when all was said and done the total was going to be over $ 400! I was honestly very upset at the jump in price. I normally wouldn’t even consider spending more than $ 100 on frames but with tax money I thought I would get something nice for myself. I still cant believe that after all was said and done my total price jumped up $ 200! So now I am online looking at more affordable options. A bunch of people I know recommended ZenniOptical which I am finding to be so much more affordable than eyeglass world. I feel like they tricked me and I really didn’t like that at all. I would never return here because of the dramatic price jump. In my opinion I don’t feel that was right. I called today and was passed to a manager and let him know. He just simply told me that is the beauty of the free market.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars! I am a past client and I made an appointment, I called to say I was running a little bit late because of the 5pm traffic. The doctor told me she cant see me, that I had to reschedule because i was running a few minutes late! Horrible customer service! I don’t recommend this place.

I would give this place no stars if I could. I’ve been going here for more than 6 years now. Half the place can’t speak English. This is America. That’s fine it happens. But when you are crooks that’s not okay. And everyone needs to know how eyeglass world and the eye doctor scam people getting contacts. This place has made me do a new exam every year for contacts that cost over 60 dollars plus I have to buy new contacts that happen to be 2 times more expensive then 1800 contacts. In Florida by law contacts have to have a new prescription every 2 years. But these crooks make you do one every year instead of following the Florida law. Anyone can look up the law, I did just to believe how bad I have been scammed. Extra 60 or more out of my hard earn money because I can’t see and they take advantage of you not knowing the laws. And when you ask to get your prescription they will deny you of it if you haven’t had a appointment in a year. So I called and the lady that works the desk in the doctors office to confront her on telling me that my prescription was expired because it’s been a year and I need an appointment to get it. Well when I confronted her telling her about the 2 year law 30 mins later. She denied saying that and said I can get my prescription. This place is crooks no wonder it’s in Kissimmee. Don’t go here who knows what else they are doing behind closed doors or how many people they have scammed. This place is good if you can’t speak English but most likely you are getting scammed for more money and getting taken advantage of. 6 or more years I’ve been going here I wouldn’t write this if I was lying. Take it how you want but this owner and people in there are in for it. Karma always comes back and bites you.

Read really great reviews and the staff was wonderful and courteous. I would give 5 stars if Dr Sant was a little bit more courteous as well. He doesn’t let you talk a full sentence without him interrupting and moves way too fast in explaining the exam, almost as if he’s in a rush for the next patient. Will be going to another office.

I got my prescription filled back in February of 2014 for buy one get one free frames in the $ 99 section of the store, of course that came with lenses. I paid about around $ 400. People, don’t go there! Since then I had to change out my frames 3 times and the quality of the frames were crappy. The first ones I had the shiny coat on the frames started to peel. The next two just wouldn’t fit me properly no matter what. And I also am going to have to go else where to get new lenses because even from the beginning my vision just wasn’t quite right. I didn’t go back for the vision part because I didn’t like the way the dr examined me. I told him that I was having a problem seeing out of one of my eyes and he didn’t even acknowledge it. It’s not worth it, their frames are poor and so is the quality of the exams. I know I’m not going back!

I had an appointment today to get my eyes checked(at Lenscrafters) at the Florida Mall. It was the only place I could get an appointment the same day, so I took the appointment. They were VERY busy, and I was quite pleased with the service at the optician. I priced eyewear there, and with insurance, they wanted nearly $ 500. So, I decided to go elsewhere. Next stop Costco, where I’ve heard you can get really good prices on glasses. Not impressed with their selection of frames! So, next stop, Eyeglass World. I’ve seen advertisements for them on TV. They carried Ray Ban, which is originally what I thought I would wind up getting. I decided against them and got a pair of Armani Exchange glasses(which were actually even more expensive), but with the more expensive frame, and a BETTER quality lens than I was quoted at Lenscrafters — with transitions, and all the other bells an whistles, the glasses were $ 120 less(using my insurance as well). The location was very quiet, but it was a pleasure not having to fight tons of people. The service was personal, and I’ll definitely be back!
