Angels Rock N Roll Cafe-Bar

Me and my fiancé stayed at the Main Gate Resort and Spa. We wanted to kill some time to head out to the airport so we decided to eat at this place because we had to kill an hour an a half. As soon as we walked this lady with light blonde hair that speaks Spanish (it looks like she kinds runs the place) she just looked at us confuse until we said for 2 pls then she said just sit anywhere. We sat down and she came and asked us «what you want to eat breakfast or lunch» I was kinda shock that she approached us this way. I’m used to being greater with a hello welcome what can I get u to drink. She was rude from the start. Then she just said well here’s the menu the front is breakfast and the back is lunch. Then a few minutes later another waitress came over to us. (Skinny kinda 5’3 white young girl) she was very very nice. Sh asked us what she can get for us in a polite way and she kept constantly coming to our table asking us if we were okay and if we needed anything. As far as the other lady. The rude Spanish blond hair chick she is so rude. Screaming in Spanish to the cook asking what his cooking and why is it like that. Also I over heard her getting mad at our waitress because she putting the forks and knives wrapping them in the napkin. She told her what are u doing don’t do this. And sent her off. She is so rude. She makes fun of people. I don’t think she knows that I understand Spanish but this is a horrible place. I fee bad for the nice waitress tho. Maybe she should go to iHop where they will appreciate her work. Oh and by the way I got the French toast and they were burn. Never again coming to this place if I stay in the Main Gate Resort and Spa.

The only thing worse than the food in this place is the customer service. If you stay at Maingate Resort and Spa, you can purchase breakfast vouchers. But, if you have a voucher, you only have 1 choice for breakfast. Eggs, meat, toast, and hash browns. The cook doesn’t know how to cook eggs properly no matter what way they’re ordered.
Worse than the food is the customer service, or lack thereof. The waitresses are mean and short. They shout in Spanish at each other across the restaurant and don’t care what you need. Good luck finding any salt in the place. We’ve gone multiple days on our trip due to pre-​purchasing the voucher and every day, we wish we had saved our money and could go somewhere, anywhere, else.
Avoid at all costs.

This place has had like 5 different names in 5 years. EVERY review on here has 1 star and I’m adding another. I didn’t even get to eat here. I walked in, the place was EMPTY except 1 man sitting at the bar eating and I was ignored for 10 minutes and only upon exiting was I asked by the man eating at the bar if I wanted to eat… did he work there? Why was he eating like a guest? What the hell is wrong with this place? Take a hint at your reviews people.

Main Gate Resort please send an undercover boss to this place, you will find out first hand, how much this place needs an over haul, the waitresses got to go!

Stay away from this place! We should have known when we walked in and there were only 2 other tables at 11:30 am on a Saturday that there were issues. We had 11 people and went here for our last meal before catching our flights home (which we nearly missed due to the crazy slow speed at which this place operates.) We sat in 2 booths and were given only 2 menus per booth. Apparently the empty place was lacking menus for everyone. The waitress then ignored us for 15 minutes without speaking to us at all. Finally she took our order. They couldn’t make the milkshakes on the menu because they had no ice cream and were out of another item on the menu (can’t remember what right now). Everything ordered at our tables was very basic; Eggs, chicken fingers, grilled cheese, hot dog and the such yet it took 45 minutes to get all of our food. The kitchen is open to the dining area so you could see what the chef was doing. He would cook one item from the order at a time. Once he finished one he would put it under the heat lamp to sit and get dry and then begin the next item. I have never thought possible that a chef would attempt to cook this way. He did however manage to find time to dance and play grab ass with waitresses. Had the place been full we would have had to wait days to get our order. The waitress finally started bringing things out as the chef finished them since she was aware we were getting really close to having to leave without our food in order to make our flights. My daughter’s order of a hot dog and French fries was the last to come out after 45 minutes… for a Hot Dog!!!
And everything wasn’t even cooked right. My father-​in-​law ordered poached eggs and got scrambled, which he ate, glad to receive anything. Please just save yourself some grief. Go anywhere else!

Waited 5 minutes just to order breakfast, waited 30 minutes more without waitress ever returning to table with drink order or food. Saw half our order sitting under the heat lamps for 20 minutes. Food was not even good. All around terrible experience.

This place puts the greasy in greasy spoon. Everything for breakfast was sliding off the plate in grease. Pissed off, nasty waitstaff. No smiles. It’s obvious they hate their jobs. slow service. Only plus is that the place itself is cute. Not worth the free breakfast.

We recently visited Orlando for our multi generation girl trip. We happened upon the Angel rock n roll café and decided we liked the name, since we ARE all angels in our family! We had a great time, great service and the burgers and fries hit the spot!
We opted to have dessert first and the chocolate cake is THE BEST ever. The milk shakes are real hand dipped ice cream and everyone loved them.
The atmosphere, décor, and food made for a great evening for us 6 ladies including grandma, aunts, moms, sisters and cousins.
It added one more great stop off to our trip and many memories celebrating the love and fun we share as a family.
If you are craving burgers, awesome steak fries, and delicious milk shakes, Angels is the place to bring your sweet angels!

Seriously this restaurant needs to be replaced. The Maingate Resort & Spa is a nice hotel. Imagine if this restaurant was gone… this hotel would be even better. Bring in any chain to replace this restaurant. It could be Applebee’s, Chili’s, TGIFridays. Anything would be better than this.

I have to say i was disappointed. We had breakfast here and the food was cold and was not good at all. My kids didnt want to go back again. The service was lousy, no smile, never checked on us. Poor service, poor food quality is all i can say

Eating here is an exercise in futility. You won’t be satisfied with the food and you’ll be completely Ignored by the staff.
For two days in a row now, my wife and I have gone to Angels and been completely ignored by the waitstaff when they saw that we had vouchers from the hotel. These vouchers were not free however, so I don’t see while we’re being treated like they were.
Both times, it took over 15 minutes to even be acknowledged that we were in the restaurant as soon as they saw the orange voucher on our table. Meanwhile, anyone who came in without the vouchers were treated like VIPs. Drinks are extra, however if you order one don’t ever expect a refill. During the 45 minutes that it took for them to get us our meals both days I never once got a refill on my coffee. I had to dry eat my food with no expectation of having a liquid to wash it down with.
Why should you visit angels? perhaps you are a sadist out to torture the rest of your family during your trip to Disney World. Perhaps you are a masochist who just loves being tortured by surly, angry waitstaff without the atmosphere of Dick’s last resort. No, at least it dicks you get service at all.
They might’ve got a second star if the food was even minutely good considering how long it took the artisanal cooking staff to prepare it. I think they were in the back slaughtering the pig for my sausage or something. If you think this is the case, however, you would be sadly mistaken. My eggs over medium came out so raw that Rocky Balboa came out and drank them for his morning workout routine. Then he went to the back to punch some of those pigs they apparently keep back there.
I am poor you, don’t eat it angels unless you are a glutton for punishment. In fact, just avoid the maingate hotel and spa and it’s entire complex. The whole thing is a scam for a timeshare pitch anyways.

Went here today didn’t check the reviews till now boy this place was crazy expensive I paid 30 bucks for 3 eggs one toast 2 pancake and one sliced of ham along with a bagel with cream cheese. The place looked empty and felt like they rushed us out. Ones our food came to our table the check book came with our meal like really I haven’t event started eating and u bring the check lol. I give one star cus forced to put something in this review. Btw sausage was burned. Won’t be coming back.
