Aldi’s

Every time I show up to this store, the line seems to be incessant. For as much as those cashiers are getting paid WHILE sitting down, they should be a lot more quicker then they are. Prices are good, but i’d not rather wait in that line.

For good prices on food, you can’t beat it. That said:
1. Watch for fresh food quality. We had to pick among fresh fruit for non-​rotten ones FAR more often than any other store.
2. Selection: it’s lacking. I know that you’d expect it from these places because they’re trying to limit items to cut prices, but there’s AN ENTIRE ROW OF CHIPS & CANDY & JUNK FOOD. Literally ¹⁄₃ of the store is junk food. And you have to enter the store through that row. Horrible corporate policy.
3. The place looks like it was swept up after a recent end-​of-​the-​world-​smash-​and-​grab-​by-​looters event. The place was a mess. The fruits and veggies and meat and frozen food areas looked like a bomb went off. Again, I know that they cut prices by not having as many employees, but the place looked like a disaster.
Don’t forget to bring a quarter for the cart!

Great place with good prices. Wish they had a better beer selection though. All they have is nothing bud budlight packs of 8 ounce cans. Cans? Of 8 ounces? Come on now. Check out was fast but cashier was a bit rude and rushing because her shift has ended already and trying to get out quick. But she did point me in the direction of their sad beer collection but other than that it was a pleasant visit. Will be back for more groceries.

Great store with a friendly staff and great prices. The place is always spotless and the service is quick.
