Nothing personal, but I have to guess that the people who’ve written the glowing reviews here have never been to actual good coffee shops. Everything about this place is bland and soulless.

The décor and interior is just gorgeous, making it a great place to work or study, or a cute place to go on a date. The food is delicious and while I have heard people rave about the coffee, I’ve had much better at other places, but it was decent. Overall, it’s a little pricey but the atmosphere is worth it for a once in a while treat!

Seriously amazing food and atmosphere! I came here for breakfast and coffee a few days ago and can’t stop thinking about it. The breakfast sandwich on an English muffin was so simple but fantastic. And the coffee! They know how to make a great latte. The building is adorable and cozy while the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend coming here for an early lunch after a stop by the Farmer’s Market on a Saturday morning.

The best coffee for miles. All the breakfast foods are amazing and the lunch menu is spectacular. It’s totally worth stopping in. Like multiple times. Or like everyday. It’s that good.

Do not pass up their cookies — specifically their apple sauce cookie. The staff is friendly and the environment is cozy. Great gem within Kirksville.

Came in for brunch, found amazing and creative food. Friendly staff worked great around food allergies keeping the food incredibly flavorful. Beyond expectation. Wide selection of wonderful drinks, coffee and otherwise. The but fun atmosphere was both inviting and interesting. I would suggest this place to anyone.

Stopped for a cookie as recommended by a local kid working the fireworks stand; should have stayed for lunch. Wonderful looking quiche and coffee flavors we couldn’t resist. A pound of chocolate cherry and toasted almond pecan and three cookies later, we were on our way! The wonderful staff offered to grind our coffee to enjoy on vacation. Oh and the cookie(white and milk chocolate oatmeal) well, it was a goner in 2 minutes. If ever in the area, we will be back!

Good quiet spot for coffee… and try The Hoss sandwich for lunch! Terrific BBQ pulled pork sandwich with kettle corn as a side. Highly-recommended!

I WISH this place was down the street from me — the breakfast food is amazing, and the bakery items are just as much! I had their Toga(greek) breakfast burrito($ 7), which was huge, btw. It was spectacular with a mix of ingredients I didn’t expect to be so delicious, but I like to try different edibles. I also got their chocolate chip cookies(also huge) for the road, intending to bring one or two to my husband. They never made it home. Never stood a chance. Normally, I only like chewy chocolate cookies, but these were more cake-like — it didn’t matter because they are heavenly. I tried everything my sister and niece ordered as well — they were all winners, one of my favorite places ever. This is a college town, so the atmosphere matched, and I love the exposed brick walls, salvaged architecture stuff, and this historical bones intact. There was popular Christian music playing, which is a bonus for me. It wasn’t loud, however, so I doubt it would bother anyone who didn’t care for that genre. The prices are very reasonable and I think they could easily charge more. You order at the counter so there are no servers to tip either. Sarah, the owner/manager, is a doll, and we got to talk to her in between customers. It’s obvious she puts her heart and soul into this place, but that doesn’t guarantee exceptional recipes. So the crazy good products make this place a 10. Can’t wait to go back!

Best coffeeshop in Kirksville easily. Located downtown it has a homey warm atmosphere upstairs and downstairs even in the new location. The coffee is cheap and delicious with four choices, I don’t normally like plain coffee-while the gelato and variety of tasty options for lunch, breakfast, dinner, and dessert is astounding, especially for Kirksville. A little on the pricier end at an average of 8 $ per a sandwich and 5 $ for a special coffee drink but get the breakfast sandwich and you won’t be disappointed with the results for the mere price of 4 $. My favorite by far. The best place to come to study homework or be in a warm cozy place with others while on the laptop or reading. The workers are always friendly and welcoming and work hard. My only complaint is the Christian rock music selection that plays every so often. I do like the jazzy selections like frank and Ella though. Highly recommended coffee shop and one of my all time favorites anywhere.
