Not a bad place to stay out of the rain and watch something on one of their few small screen tvs. We had 3 happy hour appetizers. Their prices have gone up a bit, but not too much. $ 4.25 per dish. The spinach salad with hot bacon dressing was small but very nice. The clam strips were also small and good, nothing to get too excited about. Finally, the nachos that they claim are the best were good, but not the best I had. I suggest they go to Matador’s for their $ 5 ginormous platter of nachos and then copy them so you can bring in a crowd. Service was friendly. If I am in the mood for a spinach salad with hot bacon dressing… you might see me there again… or not. Best of luck to this business. I keep forgetting to try their breakfast.

Spotty service, as far as who is your set server, food is good hearty fair. I had over easy eggs, a English muffin, biscuits and gravy, brownies, green beans deep fried(best) and mashed potatoes. Delicious, quite somber should have been coming here for games for the season

I would recommend the game if you want an easy in, easy out decent dinner. I need to try them for breakfast some time because it sounds good. The nachos are awesome, they’re friendly to kids and the service is great. It’s a good neighborhood restaurant.

Love this place as a after work stop. Im a sucker for the nachos as there’s plenty to go around and i notice huge portions from seeing what others choose. Good beer on tap attentive employees. I wish it was a bigger seating place would be my only complaint.

I love this place. It’s the perfect place to watch the Hawks. Lots of beers on tap. Plenty of big HD screens and great food. It’s the perfect neighborhood sports bar.

The best breakfast in Kirkland… well that’s a lie! Pretty much everything about this place was no good! The food was blah. The service was blah… waitress didn’t even give us the specials and we would have definitely changed our orders. All in all… never again!

We went today(July 12-sunday) for dinner. Services was so bad that we had to leave the place and go to other place. We waited for long time nobody came to a ke out orders. It was a waste of time.

We just moved to the neighborhood and this restaurant is nearby. So we decided to try it out since we are looking for a couple of regular places to hang out and eat. It was happy hour from 4−6pm and we arrived at 5:30pm. We ordered from the happy hour appetizer menu: clam strips w/tarter sauce, popcorn chicken w/ranch dressing, and 1 pound of fries. Each was only 3.99 each with a decent amount of tasty fried food. It was early and many tables were still open. Most of the patrons were families with small children. There are about six TVs playing different sports. The only complaint was that the waiter didn’t come back until after happy hour to bring us another round of beers. But it was only .75 more for a beer a after 6pm. Overall, it was a good place for bar food and beers. We will be back.

Great menu with generous portions. Seriously, you won’t leave here hungry. Staff is super friendly and have a great customer focus. For the beer drinkers, you have plenty of options on tap. Try a new beer each time! We like this place so much we are there at least once every two weeks.

Neighborhood staple where the staff know your name. If you’re looking for snooty, small portions this place is not for you. Sit back, watch the game and order a hearty breakfast for dinner. Yum!

We have visited twice for Sunday breakfast. Sports bar atmosphere is «tired» but food is fantastic and menu has great variety. Reasonable prices. Corned beef hash breakfast is the best. Simple and unassuming.

I’ve eaten here a few times before. Not great but not terrible. Today, however, I was prepping the next bite of my salad and uncovered a LIVECOCKROACH on its back wiggling literally in my salad. I jumped out of the booth so fast, unsure if I would vomit or cry first out of sheer terror. Absolutely the most disgusting moment I’ve ever had in an eating establishment. The waitress took my plate when I went to the restroom and someone came by to apologize and ask if I’d like something else. Clearly I just needed to get out of there as fast as I could. There are no excuses for something like this to happen in any sort of service establishment, much less a restaurant. I will absolutely never return and from the looks on the faces of patrons at the tables next to us during this fiasco, they might think twice as well. My stomach has been in knots since I left there this afternoon.

Family owned and managed. We did not expect such great food! The place was packed at 11:00AM so that should have been a good indication. Great salads, burgers, ect. Not typical«bar» food.

Breakfast for dinner and board games?! Um, sign me up! The neighborhood is, well, it’s Juanita. And the ambiance and décor is dated, but seriously, the food more than makes up for it. Can’t beat the prices, the burger is huge, even though I eat breakfast. All day.

This place is just unfortunate. We moved to the area about 4 years ago and I’ll never forget how excited we were to see«Voted Best Breakfast in Kirkland» on their sign. Perfect, a great place for breakfast close to home! Until we tried it. Who voted this? The staff? It was not that great. We even decided to not return as there were plenty of other options not too far away. Recently we decided to give it a second chance, in case we just had a bad first impression. It was worse. We decided on dinner this time and brought our toddler as many of their advertisements say«Family Friendly». When we arrived, we were happy to see many children in the facility. The facility, run down and sad. The menu, not much more exciting than Denny’s. We were sitting at a table next to two ladies drinking wine. Within a few minutes they made a rude comment about our child being in there and asked for their tab. All I wanted to do at that point is leave but we had already placed our food order. We sat in silence, hurt and feeling as that the regulars maybe do not like children in their beloved watering hole. The food arrived and was yet again disappointing. And some of the prices are way too high for the neighborhood and how shabby the joint is. $ 14 for chicken strips? Dude, this isn’t downtown Kirkland. We both just feel there is not a single reason to return. The only one positive comment I can make is that our server was a delight. I wish I had gotten her name so I could at least give her some kudos. She obviously was used to serving families as she was just a joy to our son.

CONS Flacid Greasy Fries Over-hyped 20 minute nachos for $ 16(with meat)… ya, seriously. Lethargic service $ 11 for 7 wings PROS They serve beer(this bumped it up to 2 stars) Close to my house If you hit their site, the pricing is «old» everything is a $ 1 or $ 2 more than before. I’m not the type to get all bunched up over pricing. But… $ 16 nachos? Seriously? It says«top 15 in the country»… citing no particular reference in who said that. I would wager that person has only had 15 plates of nachos, ever, so these inevitably made it into the top 15. Everything here is somewhere between meh and average. Their pricing is what really throws it in the dumpster. I am all about cheap greasy pub grub, but if I’m going to pay that much it better be better than some Safeway Select frozen chicken strips and a half dozen wings for $ 25.

We’ve only been here once, but I already like the place. I’ve read a few reviews about poor service and maybe I should wait to write this, but oh well. I enjoyed my first time ;) We just moved to the area(well, two miles away from our old house and this is the closest bar I believe) so we decided to try it out on the way home from the lake. It was a Sunday afternoon during Happy Hour. We ordered the Kalbi pork bites and it was delicious. Soft(yet crispy) pork with decent kalbi dipping sauce. Enough to hit the spot, but not enough to really fill you up(unless you didn’t have to share it with your husband — I was hoping he didn’t like it… I wasn’t so lucky). We both got hard ciders and two jello shots each($ 2 during happy hour). It was fun to do jello shots on a warm, Sunday afternoon :) Food came out pretty quick as it wasn’t too busy. No issues with food. Service was great. We found a seat and were greeted pretty quickly. Our server was nice and efficient. Not overly friendly, but nice enough and answered our questions about the menu. As we were leaving my husband asked another server about the happy hour menu pricing. We asked if our hard ciders were part of the happy hour menu because we were charged a different price than the beers(we figured it fell under that catergory and asked if that was the case) and she said«Um, yeah, no, I don’t know, I’m not a bartender.» She was nice when she said it so it didn’t put me off, but shouldn’t servers know the drink prices? I think so. I didn’t want to make a big fuss and told my husband we’ll find out the next time since we already paid. Anyway, since I liked the food and it’s close to home, I’ll definitely be back. They have all you can eat specials on Sunday and Monday(whatever is on the special board is all you can eat for those days). They have happy hour EVERY.DAY. from 4−6p(cool), can’t complain with that. The décor is super old school and random and I love it. Seems like your typical neighborhood bar. We’ll see how it goes in the future. :)
