They are doing the best they can. The problem is that the people of Kirkland are slow people.

The parking lot is terrible, this location is routinely out of items, and the employees don’t even know their own menu(e.g. saying they had never heard of something that was on the posted menu). Skip this Starbucks. It’s true about people not being friendly, and it’s true about them moving fast, but they really sacrifice speed for quality. I have had inaccurate and poorly made drink orders from here many times. It always baffles me how a standardized, chain menu like Starbucks has can get so mutilated at one store. I avoid going here, but alas, it is the closest coffee joint to my place of work, so I’ll probably be back when I get desperate.

If you know my Starbucks reviews, you know that not all are created equal. This location only gets three stars because: #1: You don’t have a drive thru. #2: You’re parking lot blows. #3: You get three stars because you move your line like a boss.

They were slammed on a Tuesday around ten am. But they are clearly used to the rush. They dwindled down the ordering line quickly enough. Their barista was a little on the slow side. They don’t seem to have their act together 100%. I ordered a drink and a warmed crossiant. They warmed my crossiant and put it on an inaccessible counter while they made my drink. They took a little while to make my drink so by the time I got the crossiant it was not warm anymore. Could use a little work on being organized I think. Maybe another staff member? Overall okay.

Worst crew ever. Rude, no greeting and put out when asked questions. Not just me but other customers too. Avoid this store and hope it closes.

I was looking for a place near my office where I could go to type for a few hours, get away from the assistant & incoming phone calls. So i figured Starbucks would supply the wifi & caffeine for a weekly writing getaway in town. I needed to be around people but have it be somewhat private. This place has a decent layout, you enter on the right side of the store then walk in to make your order behind the seating area. Once your order is in its made in the rear of the store so the noise is less, grab your drink & add sprinkles or nutmeg whatever then come to sit in the front. Between the iTunes musak, the squealch of espresso machines & people in conversation its easy enough to ignore the background noise for getting work done. I’m not sure how the noise helps but I’ve written more in two weeks of going here than 3 months in my office. Get my grande Carmel mocha & sit down for a few hours to type up work for my site.

This coffeehouse needs to do some training. I walked in to get a bacon breakfast sandwich, and a grande triple white chocolate mocha. First I was handed a white mocha made with white chocolate and drip coffee. I told the barista it was wrong and I wanted a triple white chocolate mocha. She sent a cup to the male barista. He made me another white mocha… no espresso in it… I tried telling him what I wanted. He then made me white chocolate and three shots of espresso, no milk. I walked out in frustration. The only redeeming thing they did get right was my bacon breakfast sandwich. Next time I will just go to a coffee stand.

Older Starbucks in a strip shopping center. It would be hard to differentiate into a memorable experience in this location.

Ugh — nothing worse than a Starbucks where the wifi wasn’t even operational. The drinks are standard Starbucks. The seating area was tight and cramped.

I’m not really much of a gamer, so I don’t know if there actually is a game called Strip Mall Demolition Derby. But if someone is considering making such a game, they would be well-served to spend a little time observing the parking lot outside this store. It’s a wide array of just misses, dropped groceries and cars battling for spots. As you’d expect from the busy parking lot, this Starbucks always seems to be full. It’s one of the smaller, narrow ubiquitous regular Starbucks not the covert«hey, we’re just a local shop look our name is 15th and Pine» experimental store. So I won’t bore you by describing their wares(they have vanilla lattes here!), but I can tell you that the staff is fairly quick and efficient. The line seems to move fairly well. The downside is that it’s a minor miracle to find a seat if you’re looking to lounge around.

What can i say its a starbucks. I go there almost everyday not because i die for starbucks, but because its right close to my office. That being said though the staff are really friendly and always chatty with us.

It’s a small place, lines are usually long. Staff seems nice, coffee is decent just like every other starbucks.

Hmm… didn’t know this Starbucks was here. I’ve been going in to the QFC next door when I want coffee. Considering this seemed to be cheaper, and(according to my barista sister, anyway) the standalone locations are higher quality, I’ll likely be heading here for my caffeinated needs. Unless I’m already in QFC for something else, at any rate. As for the location itself, it was a Starbucks, nothing really different. Staff was very friendly, service was quick, coffee was what you’d expect from Starbucks.

Well compared to other locations this one stands out. Service is fast and friendly, facility is kept clean and they actually make drinks correctly as ordered. Only thing that would make Starbucks perfect is they had better pricing. Charging premium prices for less than premium product and service … when I can get better quality coffee at local«mom and pop» places for less. But hard to beat being abel to easily find a Starbucks just about any place.

Right, Josh. Is this the little mall one, or the QFC one?

I discovered this charming little hole-in-the-wall coffee shop a few months back. I first visited this business thinking it was a trendy west-coast bank for celebrities. I mean, the ambitious name definitely makes it sound like that. Apparently and much to my chagrin, they sell coffee. Can’t believe I’ve lived in Seattle for two years without hearing about them. They must have sprung up overnight. Their affordable coffee and breakfast sandwiches aren’t bad at all. Service is quick. Definitely pay a visit to this location, I don’t think it would be easy to find another one!!!
