Sno-King Ice Arena Kirkland

Came here for a private Broom ball event. Some rough looking people in the parking lot. It was after dark, so too hard to really say much about the area. I don’t know this area, but I noticed the rough group in the parking lot…
It’s an ice rink and they offer public skating/​lessons/​leagues. We had reserved the rink for a group event. There is a ‘warm’ room you can wait in. Bleachers on both sides to sit and watch. It’s chilly in here, so dress warmly. Restrooms are on the other side… long walk. Women’s bathroom was out of toilet paper at the end of the public skate. I saw a party room as well on my walk back.
The staff here was super friendly and helpful. They got out enough goals for our group to have 3 small games going on. They had plenty of helmets and sticks available. Several helpful hints for how to walk on the ice and such were given out. Then they left us alone to play.
We had a nice time here playing Broomball and I would come back to do it again.

Fist time skating there. Why there is a christmas tree in the middle of the ice. I know its christmas. But come on. Also who is the dude wuth a state patol coat on lurking around .11 $ is alot compared to other rinks. The ice is so bad i almost fell right of the bat. I wil try another rink to practice on.

Nothing wrong with the ice rink. But boy, the speed bumps will chew your car up at any speed. Slowly went over the bump at 0.1mph and it still scraped my car. It’s literally the meanest speed bump I’ve encountered within or outside of this country. This alone ensure no one visits this ice rink or any of the stores in this strip mall the second time. Seriously, I know it’s probably been this way forever but fix it.

I’ve played hockey at Kingsgate a couple of times and the ice hasn’t been well kept. It’s been really rough which makes it awkward to skate on and the puck skips a lot.
