My brother and I went to lunch here today and we both were incredibly disappointed. Years ago there was an awful Chinese restaurant and there have been multiple bad Mexican places in this location since. I ordered the enchilada de mole and my bro got the tacos al pastor. His food was super greasy and my mole tasted like the cheap stuff you can get at a grocery store. We both felt sick afterwards. The waitresses were grumpy and never asked how the food was. If you want good Mexican food in the area, hit the Plaza Santa Fe in Woodinville or check out the place inside Top Market. Skip this place!

Pleasantly surprised. I did take out few times from here and the food is great. Love their salsa. Friendly service.

Don’t bother. We should have realized this was going to be a bad experience when we were the only ones there on a warm summer Saturday night at 7:30pm. They brought my wife the wrong food and what they brought her was inedible. It was a chicken enchilada that was filled with dry, tasteless chicken. Everything was incredibly salty. Mexican food is about spice and layers of flavor. The over salting is an obvious attempt to sell more of their margaritas with no tequila in them. I am not looking to get drunk there off margaritas. Again this is about flavor balance. You should be able to taste the balance between tequila and lime. These just tasted like limeade. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting… time for a visit from the health inspector. We complained about our experience and all we got was a barely audible«sorry». This place ruined our day.

Found them on Groupon, gave them a try. Wish I didn’t. There is no other worse feeling than leaving a ‘new’ mexican restaurant on my bucket list dissapointed. Chips — ok, salsa — below average. That is the first thing that clues me in to what I’m to expect. My wife and I got enchilada/taco lunch combos. I’m a sucker for a ground beef taco — ground beef was flavorless and too mushy. Pork in enchilada was decent, but cheese was the cheap yellow standard, enchi sauce was bad, probably from a can. Rice was subpar, no flavor, and beans were bad(prob from a can too). My wife got chicken in her taco, and she said it was flavorless and dry. It’s too bad a restaurant values profit over return customers, and serves up something that I will never go back for. Instead of charging $ 7.95 for all lunch combos, bring in better ingredients and charge 8 or $ 9.95 for all lunch combos and you will better likely get a return customer.

I hate to say it but this place was not good. The food was so bland that even my six and ten year old said it needed more flavor and spice. I ordered the chicken flautas and I could not detect any seasoning in the chicken at all. The chips and salsa weren’t bad, and were the highlight of the meal. My husband had the fajitas and said they were«fine» which is not high praise from him. I have a hard time understanding all of the good reviews. It was a real disappointment to us.

I was so excited to find out that this place was opened by the people who owned BANDIDOS in Redmond! I was devastated when they closed, and now that devastation is gone! By far the best Mexican food around! The staff are super friendly and the food is always consistent and amazing! I can’t name a single favorite dish, because everything I’ve had here(and I’ve tried A LOT) has been wonderful and hits the spot every time. I’ve never been disappointed.

The menu has moved to basically be the menu from the old Bandido’s restaurant in Redmond. I don’t like it as well as what the last two places that were here had because this is mostly Americanized — — sweet chili sauce on the enchiladas and other items with that red sauce and lots and lots of yellow cheddar cheese on just about everything. Not bad, just not all that great. Good in a pinch, and I’m sure a lot of people will love it. Still a local, independent restaurant though. So, kudos to them for that.

Nice décor, the gentleman running the lunch service was very nice and checked in with me often. I ordered the Carne Asada burrito and while it was tasty, it was SWEET. I’ve never had a sweet burrito before. No spice whatsoever. I still enjoyed it, but it was very unusual. I’d definitely come back, I’ll have to remember to request more heat next time.

We’ve been to Sebastian’s four times in as many months, three times for dining in and once for carry out. Each time the food has been delicious. This is classic Mexican, but you can tell that the recipes are from scratch. We’ve partaken in burritos, enchiladas, and kids meals — all excellent and very filling. Delicious sauces and salsa. I’m a fan of the enchiladas verde. This place should be higher on people’s list for reliable go-to food in the Kingsgate area.

Okay is the best I can say. Food was middle of the road. Service was decent because we were the only people there. Then the bill came and the receipt was from another restaurant at another location. When we asked the server she assured us the credit card would be something else too. Not sure if it was the other restaurant or that restaurant. Creepy enough to pay in cash and skedaddle. Don’t trust them having my credit info.

Best Mexican food I’ve found on the eastside. Food is awesome! We love the tacos, carnitas, carne asada, taco salad and really everything we try. Service is fast and staff is friendly.

Generous portions and tender, flavorful steak were the highlights of our lunch today. Kids shared a chicken quesadilla which we were pleasantly surprised to find was 90% chicken instead of the handful of chicken bits smothered in cheese at other restaurants. We split a bowl of tortilla soup which was deliciously non-traditional: flavorful broth, fresh lightly-cooked veggies, chicken, and avocado. Great salsa, too. Would come here again. Excited to see more quality food in the Kingsgate neighborhood!

A great neighborhood restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is great. The menu is fairly priced and has become a Thursday tradition for our family. I know that the drinks are fantastic and that I should not order the Bandido Tea again because it almost knocked me over when I drank it, taste great and very potent. If you are looking for a restaurant to give a try that might be a little bit out of the way, this is the place. If you are a local, this could easily become a habit.

Since I have lived in Kirkland I have seen this same location go through 3 Mexican restaurants. I will say that Sebastian’s is by far the best. We have picked up food from there 3 times already and really love their salsa. Food quantities are huge and flavors are yummy. Will come back.

Quick stop in on my way home. This is the 3rd Mexican restaurant in this location. This by far is the best. Great service and very accommodating! They even made me my favorite salsa!

Visited Sebastian’s for dinner tonight. Apparently the restaurant recently got a new group taking it over. I was there before and many upgrades have been done to the interior. Visited Sebastian’s for dinner tonight. Apparently the restaurant recently got a new group taking it over. The menu offers a nice range of options. It’s very attractive inside and quiet enough you can actually carry on a conversation. The mural art is incredible. They served up crispy tortilla chips and a delicious bowl of salsa(which was quickly refilled later at our request). I had the Fajita Taco Salad. It was very tasty with a crisp light shell filled to the brim with deliciousness. The flavorful chicken sautéed fajita style filled the bottom of the shell with all the fresh lettuce, tomatoes and cheese topping it. At the very top was a generous portion of both sour cream and fresh guacamole. The menu was sizable with a good variety of offerings. My dinner mates meals(a combo meal, tacos and a fajita burrito) were also generous in size and everyone enjoyed their choices. Our server returned to check on us a few times. She also took note of the sun coming through the blinds and closed them without being asked. I also noticed they offer happy hour all day from 11am to 6pm. They also mentioned they’re getting ready to expand an already complete lunch menu. We’ll return to try them both.
