Always 2 sides! A review making unfounded, slanderous accusations is shameful. Because of privacy laws the person making the accusations own drug history can not be disclosed publicly by a healthcare provider. As a retired healthcare professional I guarantee this office knows her drug history and the back round of there employees. I agree with office manager Rita… There is always two sides to a story. I have seen Dr Munson and his assistant Michelle for treatment multiple times in last couple months, Michelle was wonderful, she’s very knowledgable and made me feel very comfortable. Dr Munson and Michelle work together amazingly well, I leave knowing I have received amazing care.

MEDICALASSISTANTSTOLEMYELDERLYMOTHER’S PAINMEDICATION I would like to start off by saying that my mother has been a patient of Doctor Munson for over ten years, and she has been and is still extremely happy with his expertise. Last Thursday my mother went into this office for a dental procedure. The dental assistant Michelle routinely asked her what medication she was on. My mother takes prescription pain medication. Michelle asked to see the bottle and took it to her desk. Michelle was unaware that as my mother sat in the dental chair, looking towards the window, the glass had a mirror effect and could see exactly what she was doing. My mother witnessed Michelle unscrew the pill bottle, shake a few pills into her hand, and screw the cap back on. Michelle returned from her desk to the dental chair, with her fist clenched, my mothers prescription pain medication in hand. My mother in awe asked her«did you just take some of my pain pills?». Michelle of course denied the accusation and was extremely embarrassed. In short, my mother brought this to the Office Manager, Rita’s, attention. Rita sided with the Medical Assistant Michelle, and had no empathy with my elderly mother what so ever. My father and I have filed a police report and have yet to hear from Dr. Munson, despite calling at least once a day. Of course the person answering the phone is Rita the Office Manager, who does not take this accusation seriously. My mother has nothing but nice things to say about Dr. Munson’s medical work. However, this criminal activity cannot stand and needs to be addressed. No one is above addiction, even medical professionals. If you are on prescription pain medication please do not let it out of your site.
