I’ve frequented this place for the better part of a decade. The food is consistently great and the service is exceptional. The food portions are generous and the pico/salsa is well worth the trip.

Getting my jammin’ on tonight at La Corona in Juanita! This has been our go to place for filling our appetite for Mexican food after work. The service and food are always great, especially the Carne Asada and veggie enchilada entrees. But tonight, we dropped in for dinner and karaōke(from country to Prince). It’s a happy place with singing, cheering, dancing, and laughter. Everyone seems to know one another and accepting to new comers. I love the positive energy of this place. Maybe next time, I’ll pick up the mic. Not! You’re safe. :)

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I know and my family comes down and eats here all the time. Food and service great! Great burritos and salsa and beam dip! Totally recommend this place if you would like to go for a bite to eat.

We did not like it. I got the fish tacos and they were obviously frozen breaded fish they stuck in a tortilla. The kids got the burgers and none of them ate more than a few bites. My daughter got a Shirley Temple and it tasted like dish soap. On top of it all, the girls walked into the bathrooms and quickly turned around because they were such a mess.

The last time we went here it was terrible. The food was mediocre. The chips and salsa tasted like soap. And the music sucked:(it use to be such a good place to eat!

Good food with daily specials. Chips, beans and salsa are provided for free and Andre is a great owner. Plenty TVs for the big game

Some of the Worst Mexican Food I’ve tasted! Rice was dry and super salty. Got Camerons Shrimp and mushrooms platter for 15.00 which was way over priced for no seasoning or flavor. My 9 year old son got a cheese enchilada and hated it. he usually would eat anything cheesy. The Homemade Salsa has no flavor. Also the elderally Hostess Has So Much Bad Perfume On I couldn’t smell any food and made my eyes water.

I have been coming to this restaurant for nearly 8 years now and every time I have the best experience ever. From their salsa, chips to my favorite carne asada plate! Their drinks are fairly priced and really good. This is a family oriented but they also have a bar area which is perfect to watch football games with your friends. Thank you for the many years of yumminess!

So they give you huge portions but the flavor is pretty sub par. I love cheese, and Mexican food in general has an abundance of it in every dish. However, my La Corona sans carnitas(which is what I asked for) had very little cheese, meat(ground beef), and an abundance of pinto beans. I understand it’s lunch and you’re paying for a little less but really, a bean burrito for $ 10 and no beans and rice? Not that I needed more beans, but you get my point. I should also mention that my co-worker has a gluten allergy and ordered basically lettuce with tomatoes and the lettuce looked like it had been sitting in the back of the fridge, froze a little, and thawed out. In other words: gross. She didn’t touch it so I can only assume the flavor was as good as it looked. In short, don’t come here. Not if you want your money’s worth. Azteca would have been a better choice.

I came in not expecting much as usual when I go out to eat, but was surprised by the service and attention the staff here pays when u walk in,(to me that’s worth 5 stars) I’m normally a shy person but they always make me feel good when I come in. Usually I sit in the bar area and have a cocktail. The staff always say hi and seemed as if they know me well I like that, I tried the Carne asada burrito the other day and it was pretty good. I just enjoy the atmosphere, attention and food I’ve had so far.

I have been coming to this place for over ten years and just realized I have not even written a review of one of my favorite places! This place hands down has great service, great food and a great happy hour crowd too. The place is clean and has look and feel of a place that is kept up. The bar has big screen TVs and different machines for playing games. They also have Karaōke that is super fun on various different nights. I’ve tried multiple things on the menu and have never had anything I’ve been disappointed in. Hands down this place is awesome.

Short: Mexican food for white people who don’t know any better. Long: You like to struggle to get salsa onto your chips because it’s too chunky? Come here. Would you rather dip your chip into some flavorless beans instead of some guacamole? You’re in luck. You like enough oily cheese on your enchilada that it will make a horse constipated? Look no further. Would you much rather listen to Queen instead of Mariachi music, or watch golf instead of soccer while eating mediocre Mexican food? The perfect authentic mix. Are you a middle aged alcoholic wanting to get hammered in the afternoon in the middle of the weekday? AA come on down! This place has an identity crisis. After 5 years of driving past this place, we finally decided to give it a try. This mistake will be our last. $ 40+ for the worst Mexican food we’ve had out here, that was even worse than Mezcal in Juanita Village. I didn’t expect Cactus quality food, but I also didn’t expect to feel so gross after leaving. The first HUGE red flag was when the food came out 5 minutes after ordering. Way too fast. We knew right then we would regret eating here. I know this review is harsh. But it needed to be said. If there was an option to nominate them for a Restaurant Makeover, I would. Waitress was nice. Corona hit the spot. There, I ended on a good note.

The service is great. This is an affordable restaurant willing to flex items on the menu to your liking. I rated a 3 out of 5 for the overall experience. Food is good, not great(as expected, they do not bill themselves as high end). The kitchen and interior could use an overhaul. However wouldn’t prevent me from returning for good service and food very close to my digs.

For the first time in my life, I sent food back and refused to pay for it. I felt really bad but I also felt insulted. What I received this evening, for a $ 13 plate mind you, was a dollop of cold beans, bland flavorless rice, watery flavorless chicken in a slightly browned«chimichanga» form, and supposed verde sauce(that tasted very processed and slightly old) with some mystery white cheese. This was a restaurant my family frequented for years because I grew up in the area. I never remember it being this bad. You can tell through the bland food, outrageous prices, and small portions: this restaurant is buying processed food, is using old ingredients, hires uninspired chefs, and is probably really not doing well. I sincerely hope they focus their efforts on better ingredients and better chefs or they will lose their business.

They have bacon-wrapped shrimp, do I really need to go on?(okay, I will) My husband and I rode our bikes down on a nice, Saturday afternoon for lunch. It was fairly empty, so we just sat ourselves in the bar area. Service was great. Bartender and servers were friendly and efficient. Food was pretty good. I got the shrimp fajitas(on the lunch menu). As I mentioned earlier they are wrapped. in. bacon. So they were good. More cheese than I would like was melted over the shirmp and veggies, but it was fine. My husband got the enchiladas(lunch menu) with a tostada. He enjoyed it. Both portions were decent and we had lots to take home. Margaritas were strong ;) Restaurant was dated, but seemed clean. We only sat in the bar and I wasn’t able to view the rest of the place. It’s close to our house, so we’ll likely return when my hubby craves it.
