I never thought I would LOVE coming to the doctor. I see Michael 2x a week due to a shoulder/neck injury I have. He’s a great, caring doctor who also has a lot of patience with me. Every time I see him, we go over how I’ve been feeling since the last time I came in for PT. Depending on that, we either focus primarily on my neck or my shoulder. Every other week, Michael teaches me different stretches and techniques, often supplementing it with print-out sheets if I forget what to do at home or he shows me on a drawn diagram what muscles I’m working(I’m interested to know exactly what I’m doing!) Michael knows I work in an office, therefore I’m sitting most of the day, so he tailors it specific to me. At home, I’m supposed to do these exercises several times a day and I keep up with it! After every session, we end it with me laying on a moist heating pad for 10 – 15 minutes to comfort the muscles I’ve worked. The office staff here are very warm and understanding. Oftentimes, they’ll call me to let me know a time during my preferred time slot is open or they’ll let me schedule a month and a half in advance because I love scheduling everything early. Parking is usually chaotic since there’s a chiropractor and a dentist office in the same complex area but you should be able to find a spot easily as there are always people going in and out. I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be going here seeing as how my issue isn’t permanent, but I think I’ll actually be sad to leave. Everyone here is just so nice. It’s such a rarity to find this many kind people in one area. Note: My review is based on my interactions with Michael and the staff. I haven’t seen any other physical therapist at this location.
