Innovative Kitchen & Bath

So about 6 months ago, I decided I wanted to update my kitchen. I tried desperately to hire a contractor that I felt understood what I wanted and would help me create a wonderful kitchen. My kitchen was almost 40 years old, dated and I hated it. I called two other contractors prior to contacting Innovative Kitchen and Bath (IK&B). I was impressed from the get go. I made the call based on an advertisement I’d seen in a local paper. The gal who answered the phone was friendly and gave me a few options on getting a designer sent to me. I picked a Tuesday and Mark arrived on time and was terrific to work with. I knew what I didn’t want and I knew there were two features in my cabinets that I had to have, but other than that I really didn’t know what was possible. Mark captured what I wanted in less than an hour. He drew it up and in three days was out with the formal drawings. I fell in love with my design!
IK&B has an amazing process in place that guides you step by step through the process. We went to the showroom and I picked out my cabinet doors in the color I wanted. Mark suggested a slight modification that didn’t affect the price, but would make the kitchen easier for me to clean. Since I wanted granite counter tops, they helped me set up a meeting with the granite company they used and we spent about an hour picking out our granite. Since they knew our budget and that I wanted to stay within it, I was guided to slabs that were in my price range. I have to say I was really impressed with that and that they weren’t trying to up sell me. We picked a slab that was unique and gorgeous and within my budget.
After that, i was able to pick out my tile for the backsplash in their showroom. The selection process for cabinets and materials was SUPER easy!
We scheduled a start date for the project approximately 8 weeks out. We had our final measurements done and were ready for the job to start. We had our start date scheduled and about 2 weeks before work was to start, I got a phone call asking if they could start a week early. I said, «YES!»
Due to the project being moved up a week, I was unable to get my own electrician to do some of that work, but Innovative had an electrician that was available. Mike was terrific!
The crew of Will and Jon showed up on the right day and on time and demo started. They protected my hardwood floors, treated me and my family including our dog with the utmost respect and wanted me to be thrilled with my new kitchen. Will did a terrific job as my day to day lead on the project and making sure that everything went according to plan. They did they demo and then we checked with Mike to make sure where all the electrical outlets and switches needed to go. They were so thorough! Since we were getting all new appliances, they even looked at the requirements for those to ensure that we had exactly what we need for circuits so that there were no «do overs.» Then the cabinets were set and we were ready for the counter template to be done. Will was there with me through all of it. We had one minor delay that was caused by the subcontractor for the countertops because they had a machine failure. However, Will got things lined up so that the other items that needed to be completed, the tile backsplash, was able to be done prior to the new appliances arriving.
I actually won a bet with a friend of mine in the appliance industry who said, «It will never be done when they say it will.» To which I have said, «Pay up buddy!»
I have not hesitated to refer IK&B to friends and family and in fact when I’m ready to redo my bathrooms, they will be my first call.

Rob and his team are amazing! They just finished redoing the cabinets and counter-​tops in my kitchen and bathroom, as well as redoing the ceiling and lighting in my kitchen. Rod was the project manager for my project, and they were available for questions and have asked me to let them know if there is anything else that I see that I would like changed.
They are a small local business, which has been such a blessing, and the estimate they gave me was WAY less than the big companies.
I have NO hesitancy recommending this amazing company, and am so happy with my new kitchen and bathroom!

Innovative tiled my bathrooms, laid hardwood flooring throughout my house and built beautiful hardwood stairs from scratch for me. I really appreciated their attention to detail and the owner was really helpful in suggesting paint colors and tiles when I had no idea what to choose. They even helped setup my tv while they were there because they saw I was having problems doing it myself! They go above and beyond and I will definitely use them again!
