Fred Meyer Gas

This is a nice addition to the old Kirkland Fred Meyer. Previously there were several different renditions of modestly successful restaurants on this property, including some country place with rodeo in the name. This filling station is an improvement, to my way of thinking.
They have something like 6 lanes and 18 pumps to fill up under a covered canopy. One way in and one way out keeps the cars moving. If you shop at Kroger stores you can use your points for discounts on gas. I got a 50 cent per gallon discount last time I filled up, which probably means I spend way too much money on groceries. They have the normal convenience store items too, in outdoor covered racks. It’s a good addition to the Fred Meyer property, much like the Costco gas setup a few miles away. As gas stations go, I’d have to say it’s above average.
It’s close to the freeway ramps, which is convenient too. Get some gas, some snacks and get back in that nasty 405 traffic. As with Taco Bell, I give them money, and they give me gas.

It’s just a gas station. The best prices around and they usually beat both Safeway and Costco.

This is a really well laid out gas station: one way in, one way out, plenty of pumps, and lots of room to get past other cars when you’re done. I’ve never had to wait here. I like that everything is covered so I can stay dry.
If you’re a Fred Meyer shopper, get a Rewards card. The prices here are consistently good, but with the fuel points, they can be super low. I’ve saved as much as 30cents a gallon off their already low prices.

There are many entrances so getting there isn’t a problem and there are plenty of stations open regardless of what time it is.
How could you not want to save money on gas just from buying what you normally buy?! Fred Meyer is definitely a one stop shop, especially since they are continuing to update their organic produce and «healthy» section… if your a healthy nut like me.
