I love this place. The price is right, the people are frienly, and they do great job. I always get shellac on my fingernails and regular polish on my toes. Yes it’s small, but they’re pretty fast, so I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes to get started.

I had been going to Fingerpaints for years– and then last year I moved to Redmond, and thought I should find a new place closer. BAD idea! I was getting acrylics at the time and they literally ruined my nails. SO, back to Fingerpaints! they are awesome. you cannot beat the price and they will make all sorts of designs for you for only 3 dollars. yes, it is not a full service salon– but for a mani/pedi– you can’t beat the price and I always get compliments on how cute they are. I even have a friend that moved to Seattle and for the first 1.5 years she kept coming over to get her nails done here!

If you don’t want to spend much to have your nails painted, but leave with just standard nails, this is your place these days. I used to come here because it was cheaper than other places and the quality was still great. Today, however, I went in there for a pedicure and shellac manicure. On my toes, I can still see remnants of my former polish. Then during the shellac, they used a very harsh UV light that hurt my eyes since it reflected upward quite a lot, and the light really dried out my skin. They didn’t shield me from the light with a towel or anything and they didn’t moisturize or scrub the skin on my hands and arms. Finally, it took about 10 minutes to describe what I exactly wanted with my nail art on my finger tips. I asked for the jewel to be pushed left, even pointing in the direction. No luck. Everything cost $ 45 at the end, which i think was much for such a mediocre and disappointing experience. :(My eyes still hurt from the UV so I have to finish, but I doubt I’ll be coming back here again, which is a shame.

I’ve been coming to Fingerpaints since high school and it’s really good for a cheap mani and pedi. $ 10 for a mani, $ 15 for a pedi. They do a nice job, and the ladies are super friendly. This is definitely and in and out nail spot and not a relaxing spa. They also do really cute flowers on your big toes for $ 3. Totally worth it, I get compliments on them on the time. If you need a quick, cheap little salon for a quick mani and pedi, this is your spot in Kirkland. Not the best spot if you want to get pampered. Cash only… lots of colors to choose from. I am rarely in the neighborhood anymore, but when I am — I come here.

I went here because it was cheap and close to work. And while I appreciate that the ladies are nice, and didn’t try to pretend to be my friend, the manicure I got was not worth the $ 10 charged. Within 3 days it was chipped all over(and I deliberately stayed away from activities that would chip my polish), they did a lackluster job with my cuticles, and some of my fingers were painted a bit crookedly. I won’t be going back.

I went in for a pedicure as a walk in. I have a fabulous place near where I used to live and haven’t found one close to home now. This isn’t it. I didn’t feel pampered and relaxed. It’s very cramped inside and while they did a nice job and were reasonably priced, the«cash only» policy is a little weird.

I used to go to Fingerpaints with my mom to get a fill, and a pedicure. They did a great job with the fill, which is a professional’s job, if I was handed a brush and that powder, probably my whole hands would be covered in acrylic! Pedicures were pretty good as well, they are especially very good with putting little designs on your toes accompanied by little diamonds — at an extra charge but I think it’s worth it. I guess I went there regularly every 2 weeks for about 4 months until they started doing a really bad job with my fingernails, after leaving the place and getting home I would see these cracks on my fingernails going all the way down and it looked awful. This is a really small place that can take only 3 people for manicure, and 2 for pedicure and making appointments don’t make a difference at all despite the fact that they put your name on the calendar because when you come in for your appointment, your seat will be taken by most likely a walk-in customer. This place is only good temporarily.
