Dr. Matthew Lonergan could give some of the other doctors I’ve encountered a few tips on bedside manner. He puts you right at ease, despite the fact he may be talking to you about some pretty serious stuff. He clearly cares about his patients, taking time to explain all the steps and possibilities in laymen’s terms. He remembered exactly who I was three months after my first visit, another display of taking the time to acknowledge and care for his patients. Other staff is also friendly in a genuine, not-just-a-part-of-their-job kind of way. Only downside: the usual phlabotomist wasn’t there my second visit and the nurse who drew my blood was definitely too aggressive and left me with a good bruise.
