It’s great to have a solid shoe repair place in the neighborhood. The owner is very friendly, and will happily take time to explain what he can and can’t do to salvage a shoe for you. The work gets done quickly and the prices are fair for the services done. The puppy who chewed the heel off my brand new Bandolino pumps is lucky I found this place.

This guy know his stuff. He is honest, kind and knowledgeable. Family owned and run. This place has been in business for a long time.
He has done a great job on all of the shoes that I have brought in for repair. I have tried other shoe repairs, but they never do as good a job as Michael. This place is great and I highly recommend it!

I’m glad a few people expressed their delight. The quality of the work was good. But it WASN’T THE WORK I REQUESTED. Now I understand why he insists on being paid in advance — any question about his work and it’s a «re-​do» rather than «just keep the shoes». My Cole Haans (cheap! barely $ 200!) were VERY light and comfortable and now weigh 5 pounds (feels like!) with soles almost 2″ thick. But it is resoled. Not the Cole Haan resole I requested or expected. Of course, when getting them one of the cobbler’s acolytes was there to support him. He was apologizing before I even commented, but I was toast — already paid him. NEVER PAY A SHOE REPAIR AKA COBBLER BEFORE THE WORK IS DONE.

I love this shoe repair place with a passion. When Carly’s BCBG pink croc heels needed new heels, I take them there. When Carly’s hot brown leather boots needs a zipper fix, I take em there. When Carly’s Carlos Santana grey shoes with black mesh need a heel fix, I take them there. (If you couldn’t tell, this lady loves her shoes). The man that runs this place is friendly as can be and always ask when I want to pick them up, not when he will have ready! Two days? No problem.
Reasonable prices and quick service guarantee that Carly’s feet will be encased in the gems known as her shoes. :)
