Bikini Beach offers an excellent selection of high quality swimsuits and related beach attire — not the mass produced stuff that the chain stores sell, these are the suits that look great and wear well. Jon the owner has been in business for 30+ years and probably knows more about quality swimwear than anyone in Seattle. If you’re looking for that special suit don’t bother with department stores, head to downtown Kirkland and Bikini Beach. I’ve been a customer for years, in store and online, and I’m always impressed with the owner’s knowledge and with the fast friendly service. If I need to have a particular item by a certain date I know I can rely on Jon to get it out to me on time, no problem. Ladies — summer will be here before you know it, and the most popular suits always sell out fast, so now would be a great time to visit.

Sat outside your store right now, 10.25 Thursday morning. Your sign says open, your website says open, your tv is on, lights are on yet you are closed. I will not be returning. Called your voicemail, says you open at 11am. Huh???

I am sad to give such a bad review but I have bought several bathing suits from this shop and referred many friends here. The last time I went in completely changed my mind on the store. I was leaving in 6 weeks on vacay so I thought I would go in to check the new stuff out. Not much selection avail but I knew some things I wanted from online. So I ordered the ones I wanted and told him I need these by this date he said no problem it will be here in a week…3 weeks go by so I call… Well the order came to the shop but it is cash only so I had to send it all back cause I couldn’t afford it. WTF… What business can’t afford inventory and on top of that I would of paid before hand but he said no. Needless to say it never came in time and haven’t heard from the owner since. Horrible business practices I would strongly reccommmend find another shop. With online shopping so accessible, it is no wonder businesses like this go under I’ve never been so upset!!!

I love coming here for toms shoes and board shorts. The atmosphere is friendly and the employees are fun friendly and add to the California feel even though its in Washington. Plus you can always see attractive girls in there which is a place for us guys.

On my day tour of Kirkland downtown, checked out this small shop. There were two sections of bathing suits (men and women) where you can choose from bikinis, board shorts, t-​shirts, and sunglasses. I naturally gravitated towards the clearance section where the shirts were 75% off and shorts 50%. Found a dazzling pair of board shorts for half off. Nuttin’ wrong with that!

If you want a swimsuit anytime of the year, this is the place to go! I do have to warn you, there are things there to beware…
As much as they have beautiful high brand suits for excellent prices, they also have items I wouldn’t say you could even call a swimsuit… or underwear even for that matter…
And they do not carry many one conservative one pieces for older women. That just happens to not be the crowd they are aiming for I guess.
Plus they just started to carry some of the cutest Roxy clothes!!!
