Dr. Bob took such interest in my case, that he even assisted in my surgery. Maybe because I was more than a twisted ankle, who knows?! Still, he has vast experience and is a no BS guy. Works efficiently and is open and effective in his communications. I always know where I stand.

Dr. Adams is a very patient physician with great bedside manner who cares about patients. He is very passion in identify where the knee/​foot/​ankle problem is.
I am currently a patient of Dr. Adams. I had a very bad ski injury at Whistler in late 2013 season and was sent to ER at Whistler. Doctors in Whistler (who are sports medicine experts) thought I had a MCL sprain and send me home for rest. After 3 weeks my symptom didn’t get better but a tidy worsen. My knee wobbled a lot and I can’t barely walk without supportive bandages or bracers.
So my family doctor sent me to physical therapy which helped a lot after only 3 weeks of rehab. I could walk normal again and even start running and do some yoga. But I still have pain-​restrained movement. So Craig Carson, my wonderful therapist, recommend me to see Dr. Adams. The reason being Dr. Adams is not a surgeon so he won’t suggest unnecessary surgery.
Dr. Adams’ office has moved to Evergreen in Kirkland. He and his crew really pay attention to detail. You will see his assistant first, who will ask all kinds of question, and repeat again with Dr. Adams. His assistant will be there taking notes for him.
After spending a lot of time doing tests to identify my problem, Dr. Adams decided to send me for MRI, and found that I actually had a 2^nd degree ACL torn (instead of MCL). The first thing he said was «No surgery is needed!» with a big smile on his face because he knew how much I was worried. He then explained the diagnosis thoroughly with the knee model, followed by going over the MRI images with me. He did some further test/​diagnosis by rotation my knee and suggested me to continue on physical therapy. He answered my 10 million questions with patient! In the end of my visit he will send reports to my physical therapist and family doctor for updates.
If you have any sport related injury especially knee and ankle, I strong recommend seeing Dr. Adams.

I ran the Seattle Rock n’ Roll half marathon in 2009 and was injured during training. I spent way too money at a chiropractic’s office (which didn’t help) before I decided to call my insurance for recommendations.
Dr. Adams took x-​rays, sent me for a MRI, gave me a comprehensive exam and found that I had a torn labrum. He gave me practical advice, took the time to explain my injury, took very detailed notes and referred me to a physical therapist for treatment.
Dr. Adams has worked with Olympians for most of his career and knows what he’s talking about. I’m happy to say that I completed the half marathon without any hip pain!

I have been seeing Dr. Adams off-​and-​on (as needed) for over 20 years. He is the BEST doctor. When other doctors don’t know what the problem is, Dr. Adams is able to figure it out right away. For instance, 20 years ago, I went to specialist after specialist complaining of my back hurting. I was given muscle relaxers, PMS medicine, irritable bowel syndrome medicine, etc. I went to Dr. Adams. He promptly determined I had a herniated disc. Diagnostic testing confirmed this with a 70% central disc protrusion which was interferring with nerve function in both legs. He referred me to a neurosurgeon and I was once again able to function without pain.
In the past 20 years, I have never seen Dr. Adams be hurried. He does speak fast, but I think it’s because he thinks fast. He has always taken as much time as I needed during appointments. I belive he is incredibly intelligent, spontaneous, kind, and thoughful. I highly recommend him.

My son has had back pain for months. I thought he just needed to rest his back– finally I took him to Dr. Adams (recommended by my Orthopedic Dr. who treated my knees), who was wonderful. Tests showed my son had a stress fracture in his spine! Dr. Adams was wonderful at dealing with my son (who was very upset at not being able to play sports for several months), explaining everything clearly, answering our questions, etc. He is a very direct, «get to the point» sort of person, but warm and friendly, my son and I both loved his bedside manner, and felt he is very very competent medically.
The 3 times we’ve been here, they were running a little bit behind schedule… but when it came to our turn, the Dr. never rushed us, and stayed as long as necessary to answer all our concerns, questions, and explain all the tests and procedures.
The office staff were very nice and helpful as well. Glad we came here. Now if I can get my son to just wear his back brace like he is supposed to, and not carry his backpack, all will hopefully be well.

The guy seems nice enough. But everytime I’ve gone to see him he’s been late to the appointment by at least 15 minutes, which I could forgive if not for the entire time I’m talking to him I feel rushed.
