So happy that Kinston has a true coffee shop.
Great location on Herritage Street right in the heart of Kinston. The space is very open, but still comfortable with lots of different seating options.
Love the rotating (and semi-​permanent) drink options. I’m a big fan of the flavored lattes (and the free wifi).

This place is awesome! We were in town to eat at Chef & the Farmer and were looking for a coffee shop to hang out in. Middle Grounds is within sight of the restaurant and looked cute so we went in and were really glad we did. The space is cool and fun but still cozy and welcoming, the coffee is great, and the owners are friendly, funny, and fun to talk to. They really made us feel welcome. This is a terrific, comfortable place to hang out and we will definitely be back next time we’re in Kinston!

Very good local coffee shop! Awesome environment and high quality coffee. I enjoyed the latte and my wife an Americano. Both were just perfect. We will be back.
