Catherine is an amazing hairstylist. She is professional, courteous and has a pair of magical shears in her possession. I have always had trouble finding hair stylists but the search is over, I’m glad I found Catherine.

Catherine is very professional and you will be very happy with the results you get from her. My fiancé has gone for both her hair cut and color and she has nothing but great things to say. Catherine can work with any type of hair, she actually listens to what you want so you walk out of there with a smile on your face. She is very personable and easy to talk to, it is nice to see someone so passionate about helping others look better.

I absolutely love my hairstylist Catherine!!! She always knows what’s best for my hair and treats me and everyone with great respect… She always finds time for me somehow! I have a one year old little girl and she is very patient when I have to bring her! I will never go anywhere else for my cut or color! She’s even going go out some extensions in for me!!! I just love her! If you’re in need of a new stylist give her a try!!!

I just moved to Kingwood and was looking for a place to high light and cut my hair. I used Unilocal to find a place and this place had really good reviews. I explained to Catherine that I wanted to follow the color I already had and that I’m trying to grow my hair and showed her a picture. 6 days later and my hair feels dry like straw from the color used (I’ve been coloring my hair several years and this is the first time my hair has felt like this) and the cut is much too short and so blunt around the edge. I’m very disappointed as my hair is very fine and takes a long time to grow and I think I’m going to have to cut it short again because it feels horrible to touch from the color. Very disappointed.

I was traveling from out of state to visit my parents in Kingwood when I learned I needed to be at an important event the day I flew back home, and my color needed desperate help. Catherine’s reviews on Unilocal were the best I could find in the area, so I made an appointment. She got me in on short notice, fixed up my blonde highlights (recently not done well by another stylist), and trimmed my locks up into a cute contemporary bob. She’s also very friendly, has a nice peaceful cutting environment. If she lived in my state, she’d be my new stylist! Since she doesn’t, I guess she’ll be my new vacation stylist! Don’t be confused that her salon is within another salon. All the stylists there are independent. Catherine is the one you want to see.

I haven’t gotten my hair done anywhere than with her in the past 6 years. Always does a great job in a timely manner. Whether I go in with a specific idea of what I want my hair to look like or if I go and and say «do what you think will look best,» I always walk away in love with my new hair style. She cut, she colors, the does extensions, and so much more! Men, women and childrens hair. She’s mastered all the new and up and coming hair techniques. She was doing ombré before ombré was the it thing to do.
I absolutely recommend Salon Chroma to anyone looking for a new or updated ‘do in the area. She’s wonderful! I’m actually headed there right now to get my hair colored. Can’t wait to see how amazing it turns out.

I just moved to the New Caney/​Kingwood area from Dallas. My good friend did my hair for 8 years in Dallas, I was very nervous for someone else to touch my locks.
I found Catherine on Unilocal,called her, left a message, she called me back and squeezed me in. She sent me a reminder text the day before my appointment. I went in the salon as a platinum blonde with few low lights. I showed Catherine pictures of myself from a few years ago. I wanted more low lights and a subtle bob cut. Not only did she nail the cut and color, but she made me feel good! (See picture for her stellar work).
I’ve recently gone through a personal crisis, so I needed a pick me up. Not only did Catherine make me feel pretty, she shared some of her personal life, as she empathized with me. That meant the world to me to have one-​on-​one time & girl chat. Before leaving, she insisted I contact her if I had any questions about Kingwood living, shopping or the area in general… knowing I don’t have many friends here yet. Not only did Catherine do her job, she excelled on a personable, outgoing, friendly level!!! I’m so thankful I didn’t have to go through 5 stylists to land in Catherine’s chair!

I bounced around to different hair stylists for the last few years until I found Catherine. She’s talented and knows what she’s doing. I always leave her salon with a fantastic cut and color.

One of the hardest things I found was finding a good person to do my hair when I moved into town in 2011. It took me a few places before I found Catherine. I am very happy that I did! She does a great job at a very reasonable price. I won’t go anywhere else!
