I love the cuisine here and that alone is the only reason I still go. We always get quality food served to us but the service is subpar for what we expect when paying this much to eat out. I’m not sure if it’s our appearance or just the lack the waitstaff caring about our dining experience. The last two times we have gone, no one offers to tell us the specials or tries to interact with us in any special way, if that makes since. They literally take the order, deliver the food, and deliver the check. So in summation, the food is delicious and the service is adequate but not what I am accustomed to at a fine dining establishment. I get friendlier service at Applebee’s and Chili’s.

Everything about this place is amazing, the location, the decoration and of course the FOOD!!! I’m from Venezuela so obviously I enjoy this type of food but I invited my 100% American and Texans family-in-law and they love it as much as me The food is just incredible, the plantain chips with chimichirri dip is to die, the ceviche is fresh and with good flavor, as well the salads and very good portions, the Venezuelan arepas with meat are excellent, the Argentinian parrila is a must to try if you are a meat lover. I certainly recommend this place Desert? Don’t forget to try the tres leches or parchita mouse

Came here with former BR friends on a quick two day visit. It’s one the nicest settings I’ve seen in the Kingwood area — situated on a waterway coming off of Lake Houston apparently. Décor was very upscale and modern. We sat at the bar which was solid — not a wide variety of selections but what they had was good. My Boulevardier and Negroni were well made. We sat at outside tables with a terrific view of the water — nice breeze — good lighting. You could kill some serious time here. Our waiter was good, friendly, down to earth. Waters were up quickly as were menus, descriptions of specials, and the plantains with chimichurri sauce appetizer. The plantains on their own don’t do a lot for me personally and really mostly act as a transport mechanism for the sauce — which was delicious. We also tried the crab claws which were little bites of perfectly cooked, buttery flavored goodness — and the empanadas with the very tasty ranch/dill/yogurty sort of sauce were also very tasty. For my main I ordered the 12oz «Gaucho Cut» Ribeye which was very flavorful for the most part but pretty fatty and difficult to manage in others. Overall it was a good steak — absolutely — but perhaps could have been trimmed up a little better.

Great ATMOSPHERE– we sat on the back Patio and I loved looking over the water on the lake. The SERVICE– very professional. The FOOD– the steak was very flavorful but not a whole lot of seasoning, the sauce with the empanadas was the real treat.

This place is beautiful both inside and outside with the view of Lake Houston! They start you off with plantain chips and house chimichurri sauce. I ordered the Argentina Platter which consisted of steak, chicken, pork chop, and sausage. Each bite of meat was juicy and grilled to perfection! Hubby ordered the Chimichurri steak with mashed potatoes. The steak was very well seasoned and mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious! I would highly recommend this place for date night!

Food and service were amazing! For appetizers we got the crab fingers, highly recommend. The sauce is absolutely delicious. For entrees we ordered the chimichurri steak with the risotto and asparagus as a side. The risotto truly lives up to its name– must try! Overall my experience we very nice. I will be coming back here soon.

Great place and nice ambience. Celebrated a birthday dinner and sat outside with live music and nice view to the lake. The staff is friendly and were attentive to our needs and didn’t wait at all.

The food was fine. The service was subpar. My wife sent a drink back and we were charged for the returned drink. There are enough great restaurants in Houston that this one is a skip which is unfortunate since the location is great.

This restaurant has beautiful balcony views, classic interior designs, friendly attendants and really really delicious food! I had their cocktail finger food and 4 course meal and I regret nothing. For finger food: I tried empanadas chicken, beef, and sort of open pulled beef appetizer. They were all flavorful and had complex texture, we agreed that beef empanada is the best out of three. For starter, I had mixed green salad. I’m not a salad person, but the baby heart of Palm had interesting flavor and I won’t mind to try it again. Second course was corn soup. It was mind blowing good. Soup was creamy, savory with hint of corn sweetness. I’m really curious what did they put in the soup to make the soup has so many layers of flavor. My main course was tender cut beef in chimichurri sauce, grilled chicken with lime juice and lentil tacu tacu and side with grilled plantain, peppers. I like the flavor of the chicken better. Beef was cooked medium so you can see the beautiful pink color showing in the middle of the chunk. For dessert, I had tres leche, and«dessert? No thank!» which is sweet passion fruit sorbet plus a soft mango confit filled pastry. I should really have said«dessert? No thanks!», but oh well, life happens. I wanted to just take one bite of the tres leches, but I ended up finished all sweets in my plate. I think their tres leches is the best one I’ve ever have. The mango confit filled pastry tasted like beignet with sweet jam filling. Sorbet was pretty creamy and refreshing. Overall, I had a great dining experience at Chimichurri and would recommend this place to anyone who’s stop by the area.

Chimichurris is one of very few fine dining options available in Kingwood. I actually feel like we don’t go here enough. The service is always really good. My only complaint would be that the food tends to come out warm and not hot. I don’t mind it too much, but I know others do. Reservations are recommended.

Highly recommend the prix fixed executive lunch @ $ 16.95 which includes a soup or salad, entrée w side vegetable and dessert or coffee. I had the Entrada de Res(grilled beef steak) as my main course… quite delicious and rice pudding vs. mango sorbet for dessert. Service was superb… only wish the volume of the piped-in pop music was more whisper-like. I find canned music louder than my conversation a bit annoying.

Worst service ever! Got there to meet family, waited almost 10 minutes before hostess even came to the front to see if she could help me. Once at the table, the waiter SUCKED! He constantly interrupted, got his tie in my water and did not give a good gosh darn about anything except getting us the check. Will not be returning and will tell all my friends not to go. For the amount of money we just spent should at least feel like they wanted us in the place. About the food… The prons were over cooked and flavorless. Not something I want to eat again.

Great atmosphere. They offer inside and outside dining. Also, more of a private room available if needed. The food was fantastic! The fried plantains to start were great. Top notch Caesar salad too. Both the filet and steak chimichurri were out of this world. I highly recommend either one. Finally the service is five star on its own. Great place on the water.

I frequent this restaurant and only have good things to say about the restaurant, the staff, and, of course, the amazing food. Perfect portions of delicious meals served by friendly, considerate staff. They don’t let your wine glass go empty for more than a second and strive to make the customer happy.

Awesome little place with a spectacular view, and a KILLER wine selection! The plantain chips are delicious, and the service is helpful, if not a little TOO attentive. I felt like my water was topped off about 5 times during the dinner, and I had multiple beers/wine glasses in front of me, I just needed a bit of space! But that’s always a GOOD problem to have. The servers are well versed in their menu, and their wine list, and were very quick to offer suggestions on what to order. I got the Brazilian Salad, and a Surf and Turf special, which were medallions of steak, with vegetables, and some large prawns on a bed of. Cooked perfectly medium rare, and really good char on the meat and the prawns, the presentation looked like it should have been on the cover of a fine dining magazine. Would have taken a picture, but I was at a business dinner. Have been back 3 times, and will continue to come back. It’s one of the best restaurants I have been to in a while, but be prepared for a hefty check and constant attention from the wait staff! Two very full thumbs up in my book.

Sadly, I don’t think we will ever be going back here. My husband and I were SO excited to try this place because it continues to receive amazing reviews. To start, our waiter was extremely friendly and we sat outside on the patio overlooking the lake. No complaints there. The little plantain chips that they bring out are pretty tasty. I was excited to taste their empenadas, but they were pretty bad. We ordered mixed drinks and they were actually TOO strong! That may be a good thing for some, but it didn’t sit well with me. We ordered some kind of chef special for dinner. It was plated perfectly and beautifully, but the taste didn’t match what my eyes were seeing. The steak was chewy and hard to eat, and the flavor was mediocre at best. Unfortunately, we just weren’t impressed. Not to mention it’s a little pricier than your average date night out. Definitely didn’t match the price.

When in Kingwood, stop by! The view is breathtaking and the service is well choreographed. I haven’t even gotten to the food because this place is super chic. Whether it’s a business lunch or date night, the transitional interiors are Instagram cute. Before you start munching on complimentary plantains, take a minute to really take in this beautiful experience. I went to one of their events and had an opportunity to mingle and dance with the owners who were very inviting and excited about holding a mixer at a suburban community. Now the food: Best empanadas, salads, entrees, and the desserts, oh the desserts, you’ll ever have! Words can’t describe the exceptional experience you’ll have when all of your senses are tingled!

A great place on the harbor for a romantic view, great food and a nice glass of wine. I’ve been here a few times and get the steak salad each time. It’s a gorgeous display of colors and a hearty portion. I’m always satisfied. The plantains and chimichurri sauce to start are light and refreshing. The wine list is extensive and, as it’s South American cuisine, they have a torrontes by the glass, which I LOVE. You get what you pay for, so don’t expect it to be cheap, but it’s well worth the price if you are looking for a great ambiance, service and food. Sit out on the patio overlooking Lake Houston that also has a fireplace and enjoy!

Excellent South American food on the waterfront. The atmosphere is what I’d call upscale casual. I had a pan seared chicken with crab meat, mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. The chicken was incredible. The chips and chimichurri sauce was a great way to start the meal. If you’re looking for a great meal with a great view, I highly recommend this.

I have been here twice for the lunch specials($ 15.95) and especially enjoy the steak with the grilled veggies. These past two visits, the steak was cooked perfectly – medium rare. It was SO good, so I recommended a friend meet me there for lunch today(she had never been there). Again, I ordered the steak – medium rare. She ordered hers medium. I was sooooo disappointed when mine came out medium as well. I guess the chef was too lazy to cook two different orders two different ways. I would have given this place 4 or even 5 stars had the steak been cooked the way I liked it.(I didn’t want to complain and send it back while my friend sat there and either ate hers or waited until mine came out the way I wanted it.) It’s really too bad when a restaurant’s food isn’t consistent – it’s a crap shoot what you get. Will think twice before returning here.
