Driving cross-country from CA to PA, I made good friends with Motel 6 over the last week. Kingston was as clean and affordable(around $ 50) as the rest, and Rebbeca at the front desk was kind and welcoming. Southern hospitality is real here, and I’m glad I stopped in. You will be, too.

One of their best! Clerk was sweet! Even had RV parking close by. Internet was stable and fast. Looked newly renovated. Bed was comfortable. Towels in good shape. Pets allowed(no charge) Easy on and off highway I 40. We try to get through a city and be on the other side of traffic for the morning! Only drawback is no restaurants within a few miles. There is a closed one across the parking lot(so some one buy it and reopen it!!) #motel6

If you travel with the pack, grass walkways take on a great significance. This M6 has ample walking areas because it lies off the I75 corridor a bit. Newly renovated In the Euro style, the rooms remain in pristine condition as of this posting. The quietness on Friday night(when urban M6s rock and roll) zzzzzzzzz. Quiet. Very little noise from I 40 makes its way up toward the motel. One downside could be that nothing, absolutely nothing but two gas stations are nearby. For food and provisions, head 5 miles east to the small burg of Kingston. Charming and photogenic in a quirky way: they boast being the state Capitol for a day. Oh yes. This is now on my list of fav spots to return to. I used to stop at the Merchants Drive M6 in K’ville, but the dog walking area here and the peace of mind of no possible drug deals gone awry speak for themselves. A ten minute drive east on I40 after the I 75 split heading south brings you here. Again, expect a great find for the price!

Wow… wonder why no reviews. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. Even found a discount for me. Good location for a place to lay your head
