Waited for out food for nearly two hours. Canceled our order because only half of it came out. Waitress looked completely spaced out. Terrible experience. Do not eat here.

Checked out mint yesterday after a cruise on the rip van winkle. Pulled pork was good so was the salad. It was the special and was at a good price. I would def come back and check it out again. The outside dining was cool too. Defiantly a different experience for anyone wanting to try something a little outside of American Classic dining.

We came here regularly 10 years ago but stopped after moving. I don’t know if I’m remembering it kindly or if the quality had deteriorated a bit. Some of the other reviews were an abomination and really, it’s not bad; just not great. I thought there would be more vegetarian choices but really only a few. The spinach dumplings I had were ok. My husband had the mussels followed by the lasagna, both of which he really enjoyed. The server was very helpful in terms of recommendations.

The food at Mint is true authentic Italian and everything is delicious! They had other chefs for a while but now the owner is back in the kitchen and doing an amazing job. They also buy from local farms. Everyone is friendly, the service is great and I just discovered they have private patio/courtyard seating in the back. My son is a very picky eater and I was able to find something good for him to eat too. I will definitely be going again soon.

Finding this place was serendipitous! Walking around downtown Kingston, we chanced upon this lovely place. The place was packed with what seemed like happy diners. We wanted some dessert and their tiramisu was one of the best I’ve had. And the bar tender is awesome too.

This place is a little off the map and well worth finding. We had AMAZING tiramisu and sambuca as an after dinner treat. We were here in off season, when a lot of places are closed, and it was still open and rather crowded with diners. I only wish we’d found it earlier for dinner bc the roasted duck and aglionettii specials sounded delish! The official name is Graziano’s Mint.

The food can be incredible, and sometimes it can be average. The drinks are European — small but reasonably priced. I have eaten there about ten times. The service is always lacking and slow. The lasagne is the best I have ever had. There was a seared tuna dish that was incredible. It is no longer on the menu. I’ve had great soups, great dishes, but always disappointed in the overall experience. No attention appears to be paid to the front of the restaurant. Sadly, I have sworn off the Mint.

Took an hour to be served our«pizza». It was heated store-bought tortillas with canned sauce and canned mushrooms. The service was awful, and then the bill was over $ 40 for that terribleness.

Had a great dinner at the Mint! The waitress was so funny and the food was amazing! I had the Scallop Rosotto which melted in my mouth and started with the crab cake just melted in your mouth!

This place gets a star for providing me with some great comic material. I mean, this has got to be a front for something else because it certainly is not a restaurant! We entered this deserted place on a Saturday(party of 4) and the older woman behind the bar rolled her eyes and said«Oh great» to herself. The waitress came and took our drink order. We then heard her at the bar saying: «Monti…uh…montpul…um…montepulchino…uh» She could not pronounce Montepulciano and then asked her mom(the cranky lady behind the bar) if that was a white wine or a red. Hysterical. After that, it was just a comedy of errors. Never getting our drinks, overcooked pasta that is in a clump so that sticking a fork in it means lifting the entire plate of food in one bite. Words really cannot describe this experience!

If I could give zero stars I would. Went there on a Saturday evening at 6:30. I was not greeted for about 5 mins. In that time a large group walked in. There were two waitresses and no bartender. Finally we were seated. No menus or water was given for another 5 – 10 mins. When menu and water was given still our drink orders weren’t taken. The large party was seated and given menus. It seemed that our service would be poor. After approx 20 mins and with only water we left and went to The Hoffman House in uptown Kingston.

i really want to like this place, i live close by and it would be a great place to walk to to grab a bite/drink. i tried it twice and can honestly say every time i leave totally underwhelmed wondering why i just spent my $ on something i could have made for myself at home. next time i’ll skip it for some other place downtown(savonas, ship to shore) or head uptown for some better options. food is mediocre at best, salad(when they have it, the first time i went they told me they were«out of salad») was DRENCHED in oil and the«special» was well, not very special at all. scallop risotto was horribly undercooked and hard, i was barely able to eat it. skip it, go for some place more consistent.

Drinks are expensive for being so-so, but their homemade crab cake makes up for it. Sole reason for my next return will be for the crab cake. Yum!

Eaten here twice, both times the staff and kitchen seemed totally overwhelmed… and likewise, the food and service were average at best. Atmosphere is decent, Wine selection is decent and modestly priced.

I was very disappointed with this restaurant. I had high hopes because my friend(who dined withe our group tonight) raves about it. I really wanted to like it but I was just less than pleased. We first ordered drinks and it took a long time to get them. They weren’t complicated and we were the only people there. I ordered a pomegranate martini and it was great. What was not good was the fact that the waitress told me the limes had gone bad so that’s why there’s no garnish. Not only were there lime remnants floating in my drink, but a lime had clearly been swept around the rim before serving. If the waitress hadn’t told me that, I probably wouldn’t have noticed the missing lime. I was also served the most pitiful excuse for a pizza. Soggy flatbread, burnt cheese, and shriveled mushrooms. No thanks.

This is a charming restaurant serving excellent food. Everything we had was delicious and all of the specials were very tempting. Having spent time in Italy, it reminded me of many of the trattorias that you would find off of the piazzas there. Highly recommended.

Not worth your time or money. I am unabashedly a Hudson Valley restaurant snob. I love traveling all over to find amazing food trucks and restaurants that make you want to give up any other food. This place… The ahi tuna is fantastic, and way over priced for what your getting. I recognized the greens and various other things(ahi tuna) as Ginsberg products, while not bad, not worth over $ 15.00 a plate. As a rule the food is geesey, and because of their«open» kitchen the dining room fills with smoke. This food is not made with love. The service is slow to realize the more drinks you sell the better your tip. My friends and I are drinkers, and we love trying new cocktails or are just enthusiastic, we needed a third round when the main arrived and for the second time we had to go to the bar to let them know that we needed drinks. The restraunt was emptyish the bar had some people and the server had just delivered our food with out asking if we needed anything. After that we decided not to seek him out, this time though no check back, so no drinks, and no saving grave for this place. This isn’t one time, I’ve wasted 4 meals at this place because my husband likes the burgers and thinks this place is fancy. Overall not a good representation of how awesome the food in the Hudson Valley can be. My advice is first go to A Tavola in new paltz for real rustic Italian, and you’ll really see how badly this place is disillusioned with their food and pricing secondly, almost any other place on the strand is better. And third the people at Mariners Harbor are judging you, they know you’ve been taken for fool.

Had the good fortune to discover Mint on a recent trip to Kingston. We were a group of seven and we sat in the back garden. It was a beautiful evening and the food and service were outstanding. Shared the mussels fra diavolo and some lump crab cakes to start, then had the homemade pasta with scallops and dandelions. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we had a few bottles of pinot grigio too. The chef/owner Graziano is a real pro who brings a great mix of casual fine Italian dining to this funky riverfront town.

We went to Mint with a group of friends for New Years Eve(I know I’m behind on my Unilocal). We had a reservation for the late seating so we could eat and then head out to the bars on the Strand. I have to start off by saying that the complimentary bread was the best part of the meal. Usually that line would kick off a 1 or 2 star review, not this time. The bread was amazing! It was toasted, garlicky and covered in Parmesan cheese … there has to be a secret ingredient … perhaps crack, or meth, or something else incredibly addictive. There were 7 of us and I think we went through 15 baskets of bread … that is not an exaggeration. For dinner there was a reduced menu due to the holiday. However the steak that my buddy had been talking up all day was on it, so I was set, or so I thought. Unfortunately after I ordered the waitress came back to inform me they had run out of the steak … damn you late seating. I decided to change my order to the Braised Beef. The Braised Beef was very good … even better when I soaked up the juice with the bread. I would definitely recommend going to Mint if you’re looking for dinner in Kingston, especially down on the Rondout. Trust me, I grew up there, your options are extremely limited. I will go back just for the bread, seriously.

Excellent food. Metropolitan ambiance in a small town. Easily the best eatery we ate at all weekend. Excellent value.
