I have been doing business with HVCC for over 5 years, mostly small things like oil changes, tune ups, buying, parts, cleaning products, apparel /helmets, etc. Recently I purchased two new sport bike tires which HVCC mounted and balanced on my rims. When I got home, I realized that the they had not mounted the tires correctly(there is a mark on each tire that needs to be aligned with the valve stem) so I brought the wheels back. Barry insisted that this did not matter and that it was no big deal. I asked him to fix the problem anyway and he took the wheels in the back and repositioned the tires on the rims. When I got home and cleaned and polished my rims, I found a number of scratches and dings on the wheels that were not there before. My rims were flawless, I transported them in a way that would make it impossible for them to get damaged and I have pictures of the rims before and after. I worked in a bike shop for 5 years and I know that if you’re careless when removing /mounting tires its very easy to scratch and ding rims. I am very disappointed in the passive aggressive way that they handled my issue and will not be doing business with them in the future. Its a shame because we have 2 licensed and 3 soon to be licensed riders in our family and would have loved to have a good relationship with our local dealer.
