Thank you for responding Katherine but to be honest, I have little faith that your company will change. I contacted your company after my visit via a survey. I have yet to hear from anyone. It’s too bad because I loved to shop there with my kids.

So badly staffed. I went to the women’s boot area, and waited while my husband went to the registers to find an employee. He asked two employees, a few minutes apart, and was simply told to «wait a sec» by both. Meanwhile, I didn’t see a single employee anywhere except near the register. We «waited» there around 15 minutes. Had they been busy, it would have been understandable, but the store was almost empty. We walked out. Don’t think I’ll walk in again.

Horrible store. I stood in the shoe dept for 10 minutes, looked around for an associate, even saw some employees walk by. So, i walked the hell out of that shithole.

Why is it that every time we shop at this store we encounter disinterested employees, hard to find assistance and always only one register open with a slow cashier that is also busy answering the phone, talking to other employees while checking customers out. We do have options in the area and will divert our friends and shopping needs elsewhere, shame on this store.

Nice Gander Mountain location! I spent a few minutes in here one afternoon perusing their selection of binoculars. I’m in the market for a pair, and am trying to figure out which to buy. Gander Mountain has a large selection of binoculars to try out.
Docking one star as I really wanted to talk to someone in detail about these products, but could not find anyone to do so.

I made the drive from Albany because I have been told how good this store was and I was not disapointed. I needed a scope for my riffle and wanted to talk to someone who actually knew about scopes, not like the associates at the box stores like Dicks who are clueless.
Dave was great, he answered all my questions and even convinced me to pick up the Ruger 10⁄22 I have been wanting. It might be an hour drive, but I will be willing to do that to give this store my business.

People have called Gander Mountain the Walmart of Wildlife. Well, I don’t think they have any plans for world dominance, but the store has good quality stuff and one-​stop shopping for many things we can’t get close to home. I like visiting this store.
