Worse service ever. Had eye exam in a timely manner. I waited over an hour for someone to help me order glasses. Even though there were a few people standing around doing nothing. Ended up leaving without ordering glasses, total waste of time spent there

Never go to the vision works in kingston. After trying to live with my glasses as given to me I went in to get them adjusted and fixed. The man who was assigned me in the line up was beyond rude. I needed the noise pieces changed and adjusted. The ear piece is moving around and to short. He tells me nose can not be changed. I have worn glasses for most of my life, yes they can be changed. He then says ear short because it’s bent to stay on my head, I say I didn’t do it this is how you gave them to me and they keep falling off my face, I take them off and show him that they are not bent and a flat ruler going across shows the one side is half inch shorter. He says they cannot change it. I asked can you check I will pay for longer one if need be. He refused to check. Then says I wear them to far from face. I keep pushing them so close my lashes hit lens trying to keep them on. He says he should take a picture with my phone show me lashes don’t touch. I said would you like to go to the dollar store but mascara and the black marks will prove they touch? He refused to do any adjustment said I was liar that they didn’t fit right. I said am I wearing them or you? When I have to hold them up and shift car it is dangerous. He finally adjust noise, he pinch top super close and it is bottom needed adjust. I said curly toned ty and I walked out. Person comes out after me catches me in parking lot, when I left he evidently said did you hear her birch? Stupid C@$&! They were leaving over the remark disgusted at my treatment, thought I should know.
I went to lenscrafters at mall they changed nose out fixed what he broke and adjusted to fit me. Confirmed ear piece is shorter, he doesn’t carry frame or would order new for me he said. Says he gets people from them often. Was super nice and better believe he will get all my money in future purchases. Wouldn’t take a penny for his time either!

This place is really awful. I brought my prescription, ordered my glasses. When I picked them up, I couldn’t read (progressives) and told the associate that I couldn’t find the reading prescription. She told me that my vision had dramatically changed and that I’d have to get used to them. Suggested I wear them for ²⁴⁄₄₈ hours. I agreed thinking she knew something I didn’t.
By Monday, I called the eye doctor to have him take a look. Turned out the reading portion was non-​existent and the rest of the prescription was completely out of whack. Went back with the printout the doctor gave me to let them know what happened. No one took responsibility for the error or even said «sorry». The just took the prescription and told me they would call me the Saturday of the next week but. That didn’t happen either.
I called on Thursday to see if they could speed things up only to find out the glasses had been sitting there. Went to pick them up, was asked to wait in waiting room for 10 minutes. When the person handling my glasses called my name very loudly from his desk for me to come into the room to be served. Didn’t bother to come into the
waiting area looking for me.
Are these people kidding? They are ill-​mannered and really terrible at customer service. I won’t ever go back there again. I think that because they have
most of the union contracts they don’t really care. There are plenty more customers
out there. Well, I got the message loud and clear.
Find another provider.

One of the worst experiences of my life. Horrible staff and horrible customer service. I’ve been a customer of Empire Vision for 20 years in Albany but do my work schedule I went to the one in Kingston and it was embarassing. Not one smile. Not one Hello, The woman was basically accusing me of trying to get out of paying cause I was in a new store and she said it was strange that I didn’t go to the Albany store even though I said I was here because I was working in the area. Never go here! I’m finding a new eye doctor.
