Food is ok. We got nachos with beef, the beef had no flavor and they cooked them so long the cheese browned into nothingness. I had chicken Parm dinner and my boyfriend had buffalo chicken mac and cheese. In both dishes the chicken was just a thick breast that they breaded and cooked. Mine was really chewy and just inedible, my boyfriend said the Mac and cheese was tasty but the chicken was not that great. I guess I thought the chicken would be pounded thin and then breaded. The service was good and food was hot but overall I was not impressed

4 stars to 1 star… for the renovated restaurant. A much nicer atmosphere. I’m certain the owner would like a nice ROI on that investment. Unfortunately you can count me out. Been going for take out, for at least 5 years. I usually order the chicken, shrimp & scallop sauté. Other dishes, too & sometimes a meal seated in the restaurant. However gradually over time, the portions have become less and less. This evening I picked up(from a VERY unwelcoming young permed, brunette w/‘tude) what I would say is a $ 21.99 + tax ripoff. I’m still hungry. The main ingredient now is, artichokes. With an overdosed cream & flavorless chicken broth, or whatever, sauce. Yes, there’s «some» chicken, a little bit of scallops, and… did I see shrimp?!! They even skimp on rice pilaf. Rice pilaf! This is just so unacceptable, I’m sad I have to finally… officially, say goodbye.(Kitchen & serving staff need MUCH more supervision to put out a decent quality product for price paid.)

Decent food for the price. Be careful however, you do not get the same service or food for take-out. Unfortunately, you still pay the same price, while getting less. No apologies. They simply said that’s just what they do.

Where do I start… oh yes… Eggs Benedict. But not just any Bennie. Go for the fresh lobster add-on! I expected a small claw or two and other little bits. Not so! Try a heap of the yummy crustacean on two poachies(yes one was slightly close to overdone, but I really couldn’t have cared less!) on an oversized English muffin! Our waitress(friendly and very efficient) wasn’t sure if the hollandaise was fresh or a mix, so I went with it on the side. If it was a mix, it was a pretty good one, light, buttery, not gloppy. Perhaps not as tangy as fresh, but it worked for me for dipping and a little drizzle. Opted for fruit instead of home fries. It was a nice mix of fresh banana, blueberries and strawberries. Hubby was quite enamored with his 4(!!!) egg omelette stuffed with ham, bacon and cheese. Home fries were chunky but not greasy. And he loved the thick cut toast. They only do breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 7am-11am. Surprisingly not busy on this visit. Maybe the locals don’t know what they’re missing? When we tried to go previously, they were closed, doing the expansion into the unit next door. We didn’t peek in there, but more space is good. The part we were in was separated from the bar by a partition wall, but only 6 or 7 tables and some high tops across from the bar itself. When you walk in the front door, you get a great view of the kitchen. The owner welcomed us from behind the counter and we chatted with him again as we left, thanking him for a wonderful breakfast. Definitely will be back!

Recently expanded into the open space next door. This expansion looks to have basically doubled the size of the bar and restaurant space. Still great food and service!

Awful. Ordered a Reuben and had to throw it away. Never again tore up the menu. Would give negative stars if I could.

We go here a couple times a month and it is always the same. For me that’s great. Fast service great food cold drinks. And the kids can agree with something on the menu. They also are very good with the kids when the kids are being not their best. I would recommend this place highly to anyone. Even when they are busy the wait isn’t that long.

This is our favorite place. Bonnie, Sarah, and the girls know our drink orders… make our desserts special. Even days they are not on the food is amazing and generous portions. The prime rib special makes me giddy. A great place for the community ! Love taking family here!

The food here has gone down hill since they opened up the other restaurant. The food is very bland and the chicken parm was very chewy.

I love this place! I work right across the street, so coworkers and I love to grab drinks here after work. The staff is friendly and it’s always clean. You can do a sit-down dinner, takeout, or they even deliver! They have a great menu selection and have something for whatever you’re craving. Their Italian subs are great, but I would HIGHLY recommend the lobster baked mac and cheese– it’s a big portion so I usually end up bringing some home. It’s a small place and it feels cozy– definitely a local favorite!

This place is okay if you are sitting down to eat. Always really busy on Friday and Saturday so get their early. If your picking food up to go beware because it isnt as good as if you sit in and eat. It’s like they could care less about pick up customers. Also the pizza isn’t good at all go to the pizza place down the road for pizza

First, the service is great. I especially like the woman who work out front taking your orders. Every time I go they’re smiling and happy. They work hard on weekends when I go for picking up food. It’s just nice to have friendly staff when that’s hard to find around here. It’s worth going here because of the staff. The food is really good — not especially great. But, it’s a local small town place and it actually is great for that type of food. My only complaint is the pizza doesn’t have enough cheese, crust is a little thin and slightly over cooked. The buffalo wings are excellent, so that makes up for it a little. There is a bar, so you can hang while your food is cooking. Overall I’d say this is a great place to grab a bite. My grandparents owned a pizza shop in town for over 20 years, so I like supporting the next local generation pizza owners!

We ate there today for the second time. The first time I was underwhelmed, but today was excellent. My wife doesn’t like cheese and ordered the steak tip sandwich without cheese. They delivered(many places screw that up). I ordered a lobster roll. It says«made to order» on the menu, and it is! I ordered it sans mayo with drawn butter and they not only did it up perfectly, there was ample lobster. The beer selection is somewhat limited, but still decent. Service was excellent. Another patron at the bar created his own dish and they put together precisely what he wanted. Given a slew of recent fair-to-bleh dining experiences in the area, I’m pleased enough to go again in a pinch. If such things matter to you, the décor is part pub, part family restaurant, part sports bar, with nothing overly annoying in any of those directions. Women’s college basketball was on while we ate. The bar is very clean and the open kitchen as you enter makes for an inviting experience.

It’s pretty good here. The food is inexpensive and made well. The menu is brief and there’s not too many healthy options, but overall everything I have had was good. They sometimes have live piano music which I love and there’s a decent draft selection. This is definitely a townie bar for Kingstonians. My husband always knows someone when we go in there.

This restaurant keeps it simple. A basic open-kitchen tavern style pizzeria with wood fired pizza, sandwiches and entrees, the owner, Rob, aims to please. I rate this restaurant very high on consistency in the food and response to feedback from customers. The food is basic, but fairly priced and always cooked well, then served by friendly staff. I rate it low on ambiance, however. The bar is lit with very bright lights so you feel on display, and the the stools and chairs are definitely designed more for fast turnover than for diner comfort. Occasionally, the wood fired oven fills the place with smoke from the open kitchen, which drives this asthma sufferer out quickly. If you can look past the creature comforts and focus on the food, however, it’s worth a try. Unilocal isn’t letting me add the parking, etc categories to this new listing, so I’ll talk about them here: It has a large parking lot. It is priced low to moderately. It is handicap accessible into the restaurant though a wheelchair will need assistance negotiating the turn around the piano to the bathroom — it’s wide enough but awkward. It takes credit cards. It is very kid friendly.
