A little pricey but you do get the quality of food that comes with that price.
Would recommend for the food but not for the staff. Usually bad service here and management seems to not care and can be very rude.
Best thing going for the restaurant is the view of the river. Request to sit in the back at the Windows.
If you can look past a bad staff experience then it’s worth it.

Fresh, well prepared seafood and friendly staff. Our table had a nice river view. The raw oysters were a bit small but we’re very fresh. We ordered the trout almondine and fried catfish, both were very good. Freshest seafood in the area, would definitely recommend.

No restaurant should run out of a basic item like baked potatoes… go to the store and buy some… Was also out of Flounder??? King crab was old and rubbery… Couldn’t crack a leg only would bend and had to use a table fork to really open the legs… and the cream corn with flavored bread crumbs was something I wish I didn’t order… Can’t really describe how odd the taste was… Won’t be returning anytime soon…

The view of the river is amazing. I was there as the Sun went down and the lights on the indoor back patio through hundreds of nats to each light.
The mahi mahi was really good. Outside of that, I would never return. The owners comment about the Nats being just part of the experience was absolutely disgraceful. All of the customers were complaining to each other and even the staff was talking about how bad it was. For the amount of money this company spends on TV advertisements, I suggest an exterminator.

A wonderful dining experience! Fast and friendly service, clean scenic atmosphere. Fresh delicious food. Must try the gumbo and stuffed tilapia.

The view of the waterfront is great, good choice for a decent meal in a scenic setting. I’ve been here three times and tried a different fish dish each time, was never wowed, but satisfied.

I’ve been here twice in the past 2 years, at the request of someone else. Food is not very good, it has 0 flavor, ask for a sauce or something to go on your fish, you’ll be charged. Service is ok, restaurant could use an update and a good cleaning. I suggest going to Chop House in Kingsport if you are craving seafood!

Would give «zero stars» if possible. Incredibly inattentive and uncaring management. My husband went so far out of his way to set up a special evening, calling ahead several weeks before the date and several times afterwards to make sure all was ready. He was assured several times that all plans were finalized. Tonight we went for dinner and all of his plans were completely distegarded… When he complained to management they simply shrugged their shoulders and said «oh well… we are busy tonight». We won’t be returning. and their manager has stated that this is fine. Support another local buisness that cares about their customers.

This place has a bit of an attitude. They tout their seafood freshness but maybe they could be a little nicer? Owner was not helpful with a substitution of a menu item they were out of (they weren’t really out but they were to busy to cook it the waitress told me). Also, fresh catch was out and what they offered was fried. Service was slow. The price was high for what I received. The view was very nice! If they are still in business I’ll try it again in about 5 years.

Food and service are very good. Management policies are ridiculous. Took elderly relatives to lunch and they refused to seat us or give us anything to drink until everyone was there in spite of the fact that there were only 2 people in the entire restaurant. I asked them if my 85 year old mother in law could go to the table and have a glass of tea and the manager said no. It was against their policy. My policy is not to go to places that are so narrow minded and in accommodating. I will not go back.

Fish is delicious, but service is horrible. Steak was overdone, then overdone. Prices are high. Salmon is good, but small portion. Don’t expect any good service.

We loved the food here. It was all fresh and yummy. The catfish was especially well-​prepared. They served the most deliciously tart and creamy key lime pie I’ve ever had! can’t wait to return when I come back to the area.

If only the view saved this place, it would be a blessing.
It’s so hard to believe that a restaurant with such a great location has such lousy service and awful food.
I went here with my mother one evening, and I can honestly say I was never happier to leave a restaurant.
Our waiter was inattentive, to say the least (read: uncaring) We had our food thrown at us, and I think the lettuce in the salad was from 1998.
The entrée wasn’t much better, I had BBQ shrimp. That was the toughest, least flavorful shrimp I’ve had in my life.
And our drinks were only refilled when we flagged down a waiter. (Which was not our own, I think he was in back, pumping iron or something.)
The place is run down for the most part, the floors are worn and the bathrooms are not clean, and there are flies everywhere. The tables are even sticky! Gross!
If you’re thinking of going here, my advice is to go somewhere else where the wait staff is friendly and the food is edible.

We sat out on the deck and really enjoyed the view of the river… beautiful during the summer. However, the service wasn’t so great, the food not so great… not very fresh taste and heavy with sauces. Also, when we got there we had to wait for a table and when we asked if we could sit out on the deck (lots of open tables with an area where there was no dinner service going on) the hostess freaked out a bit. She finally gave in and let us sit out there, which was great… but… too much effort. If they would change it up a bit an let folks relax on the patio, and the food were better, it could be great.
