I ordered pizza from Johnny Brusco’s based on William T’s review. He is right on the money. The best pizza in the Tri-​Cities– hands down. Fresh ingredients and masterfully prepared. If you love New York style pizza, you’ll love Johnny Brusco’s!

Absolutely the best Pizza in the Tri-​Cities! Hands-​down! We moved from Philly area (where really great pizza can be found on nearly every corner) four years ago and we searched all over the Tri-​Cities and SW VA for more than a year before finding Johnny Brusco’s. Their Johnson City location is NOT as good (sorry, boys… after 3 tries, it simply is different and not as good.) If we are in JC and want Pizza we usually will drive to Kingsport. JB’s meals are also good but we’ve only tried them once… we love their pizza. BTW, when in Abingdon try Milano’s. Milano’s pizza is a slightly different style than JB’s but very very good.

Johnny Brusco’s serves traditional style NY pizza, calzones, and pasta as well as some great hot subs. We had a large party who ordered a little bit of everything and everyone was satisfied. The food was a little greasy in the NYC style but very good. The kids were transfixed by the pizza chef tossing pizza dough behind the counter. There are also some video game machines and TVs for sporting events. All in all a great choice for families with kids or groups who enjoy a traditional slice of NY pizza.
