Location — Dewayne’s World is located 459 E Sulivan near downtown Kingsport. Parking is best available on the street. Grade: B
Atmosphere– DW is clean, highly organized and inviting. A separate room is set apart for gaming on weekends and the store has a strong loyal fan base. DW is far and away the most comfortable comic store in the tri cities.
Grade: A
Knowledge/​Customer Service– I’ve visited four times over the past year and found all salespeople knowledgeable and friendly. DW is very family friendly and the staff will go out of their way to make you happy.
Grade A–
Selection– The shelves at DW are well well stocked and organized with all the new Indy and Mainstream titles. Even hard to find one shots and variants are available. High Grade Silver Age and hot modern issues are found behind the counter and are cycled out regularly. But if you are looking for filler issues or reader copies they have very few compared to most comic stores.
Grade: B (New –A, Filler Issues-​D, Key collector Issues/​Silver Age– A-​, toys/​games etc B+)
Overall: DW is one of the best all around comic stores in the Tri state Area and my pick for the best all around in Tri Cities. The store is clean, professional, relatively well stocked for high end collectors and the environment for gamers is second to none. The only drawback is the lack of common issues and low end reader copies for the average enthusiast.
