New ownership really has this place turned around! Food is top notch, soup is to die for. Make sure you ask for Jess’ soup. Snowmobilers, take Summit City Road from trail 510, hang a right on 113 and you’re there.

First time here and It was a great experience all around. Great Food and service. The soup mistress has really honed the craft of a great soup on a frigid day. Snowmobile friendly.

Excellent burgers and very friendly service. Jess knew my food and drink order after my first visit. Great small town place to get a drink, have a bite to eat and catch a few smile’s and laughs

Owner and his wife are very rude to the customers and will not serve you if they don’t like how you look. They are very judgmental and it shows since hardly anyone actually goes there. They are expensive and the drinks are not worth the prices that they charge.

I needed this. Kraig and Jess greeted us with smiles and my favorite kind of sarcasm. I love these kind of places(small town family business). Just a few miles from big box traverse. Garbage fries, cold beer. It’s the people that I’ll come back for.

We have been here a few times. The food is nothing special, but there’s nothing wrong with it either. Appetizers are standard bar food. The pizza’s not bad. The beer is always good and cold and the staff has always been very good to us. Friendly folks in a local bar atmosphere.

Well, I’ve been in worse places… this place is exactly as advertised… a hide-away for beer, booze and pub grub… keep your expectations realistic, buy a few drinks and socialize with the locals… Fireball Whisky would be a nice addition to round things out… stop and visit.
