I was pleasantly surprised when I went to visit my Mother in Law’s temporary living quarters as she was recovering from a broken femur. On my brief tour of the place when we were dropping her off from Thanksgiving dinner, my observations were: The lobby & halls are cheery. She took us to a sitting room that she had met with church members for a women’s club… it was like a sunporch room in a nice hotel. The dining room reminded me of a hampton inn. Her temporary room was a bit like a econo lodge room but the long term rooms were probably more homey when you bring in your own furniture. Everything appeared very clean & orderly. Few staff members we encountered that night were very friendly. She seemed pretty content with the care she was given there during her month long stay. She showed me the«activity» board & it was pretty extensive including in facility activities & field trips also. Not sure how many other options there are nearby, but I would definitely investigate this one if you have a loved one needing short term or long term assisted living.
