This is a little walk up eatery that would be easy to miss. We stay at the Ferrari Crown motel and walk right next door to order a pizza or hero. Last night we got the bruschetta appetizer and it’s basically a whole load of bread with delicious melted cheese and garlic and tomatoes. We have had all kinds of pizza– all good. The eggplant sandwich was great and so was the meatball sub. This time they had chairs and a table outside which was nice.

Walked up and was looking at menu when the girl inside said to let her know when we were ready. Then came back to the window 15 seconds later and said they were closed. 30 min before they were supposed to close. What a joke. Don’t bother.

Jiffy’s Pizza isn’t delivering to KB/Tahoe Vista this summer, so we decided to try Apizza Bella for delivery. The gal that took our order was probably new, but friendly. The pizza arrived before the promised time(40 min). The ingredients were good and fresh. However, the middle of the pizza was soggy, and the toppings slid all over. Could have been a problem with delivery method, or the oven didn’t crisp the crust enough. Too bad, because this pizza had potential. The salad was fresh and crisp and we loved the lemon parmigiana dressing. Not sure we’ll try again, but it could be great if put together and baked just right.

Nice people from order to delivery! Pizza was great too, good crust not too thick not too thin. Meatballs were also very good.

I live in Kings beach and have tried giving this place several chances before giving up on them. Horrible customer service on the phone AND when you order in person. They are never open when the say they are. They are constantly changing their«rules»…sometimes they won’t deliver until after 5, sometimes it’s 4, and sometimes they just won’t deliver at all because«youre so close you might as well come pick it up». One time I called to order some chicken wings…“we’re out of wings”. Fine no problem, I’ll have a sandwich. «You have to pick up, we aren’t delivering today.» Ok no problem. Go to pick up, while I’m waiting on my sandwich to be made(granted this was AFTER I waited 17 of the 20 minutes they said it would take to make the sandwich, then was told it wasn’t ready yet because I was early) another customer walked up and ordered wings with no problem. All of a sudden they have wings again? All this may seem trivial, but after having bad experience after bad experience… I’ve finally given up. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Try mofos in incline or Jiffy’s instead. They actually appreciate their customers. Sorry apizza Bella. I gave you several chances, and you just kept screwing them up. We’re done. I’m moving on with mofos pizza.

I called to have delivery… the guy on the phone was RUDE!!! Had zero tolerance ad had customer service skills. Complained about his time at work. Not worth even calling to talk to anyone. So beyond rude…

This was some of the worst pizza we have ever had. We ordered a large cheese and a spicy Hawaiian. The spicy Hawaiian was soggy and looked nasty. Tasted worse. Large cheese was not good, mediocre quality cheese. Even the seven year olds knew…

It wasn’t super clear to me before I arrived that this place is take out only, and there’s nowhere to wait for your pizza inside. I also found the pizza kind of pricey for what it was, and when we got our pizza, it was kind of hard and chewy, and the cheese was fairly coagulated. It wasn’t the worst pizza I’ve ever had, but it was by no means the best, or even that good for that matter.

Pizza here is pretty fantastic. Generous slices that will fill you up and great taste. It’s a little bit in the cut so visibility is an issue but it’s a great little place.

Heading to the beach for sunset, we decided to order some sammiches to share for an impromptu picnic. Other friends grabbed stuff from other Kings Beach establishments while I opted to order a meatball sub from here to share. The price was great — $ 7.50 for a large sandwich that 2 people could easily split(there were 3 of us, so we split it and still got a good few bites each). Very honestly, I LOVED the bread, which was slightly toasted. I mean, I loved that bread. I thought the meatballs itself came with a slightly too salty sauce, but that again was my personal opinion — others liked it. I think I’ll give it another try and just try another sandwich because I loved that bread so much. I wonder if they’ll do a cheesesteak?! Did I mention how much I loved the bread?

Read the good reviews so thought it was a can’t miss, I was wrong so very wrong. We were staying here at a local resort and decided to get a pizza delivered. We called in the order and first off they only had two sizes 12″ or 16″ we ordered a 16 with olives, artichoke, tomatoes and pepperoni. I almost choked when he told me it was $ 29.80. Listen I’ve had pizza all over the U.S. and in Italy, I’ve never paid 30 bucks for a 4 item pie anywhere. My next thought was if this is a great pizza then I’m ok with paying a bit more. 30 mins later our pizza arrived, the delivery guy seemed nice enough so I tipped him well and was ready to eat. I wish I would have opened the box immediately instead of waiting 5 mins. The pizza didn’t exactly travel on a flat surface it was leaning into the box which by the way looked all of 16″ and the pie looked about 14 tops. It passed the eye test and honestly wasn’t the worst pizza I’ve ever had. The sauce was lacking any real flavour and the toppings were average in both taste and quantity. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of one is because I’ve had a little ceasers pizza once and this was better so two stars it is. Next time we come to Kings Beach we’ll stick to the steak house and sushi.

We really reallllly loved the garlic bread with cheese. Oh my goodness, to die for. The pizza was, meh. My husband said it smelled and tasted too much like playdough. I wasn’t awed by our pizza choice, but it bery well could have just been The Truckee and not all their pizzas. The garlic bread… I wish I had some right now!

Tasty pizza and they deliver. Quite fantastic for Tahoe with nice thin crust, good tomato sauce, and perfectly cooked consistently. Needs an online menu — trying to solve that here.

The place it freaking awesome. They have the biggest toasted hero I have ever had. A slice there is 2 slices in New York the proves are great and the owner is absolutely great.

The toasted subs are so good. I just moved up here from SF and this place was recommended. The guys love the meatball subs. I love the toasted pastrami & swiss. To the detriment of my hips, I ordered it 3 times in 1 week. 1 day they were out of pastrami and so I ordered salami(and it was very high quality salami). The quality of meats is what it’s about. I havent tried the pizza. This place also makes homemade cheesecake(which you have to order in advance) at ½ the price of places in the city. I plan on ordering the cheesecake for the holidays.

Had the pizza tonight. Not as good as the manicotti and baked sub I had earlier. The crust was a little overdone; past crispy toward burnt. I’ll go back, but not for the pizza.

Pizza is delicious, takes a while to get a pizza and it’s quite expensive, but when you’re on vacation, you don’t mind. The outdoor patio wasn’t the nicest, I suggest to eat it on the beach or in the hotel

The pizza was awesome, I would have given it 5 stars, but it’s pretty expensive for the size of pizza it is. We got a 12″ for $ 21. We only went for a mid-afternoon snack, so the 12″ was enough for the both of us, but if you’re really hungry, go for the bigger size. The crust is thin and crispy, which I love and the toppings all tasted fresh. Definitely go here and bring it back to the beach to eat. They do have a back deck, but it’s fenced in, so you can’t really see much.

This place was awesome! A little hole in the wall, we actually drove right by it first. Rick, the owner, greeted us. He is a real nice guy, and happens to be the chef too. We ordered a half cheese, half Bills. The cheese was for my 2 yr old and 4 year old. I have never seen the kids eat a cheese pizza so fast. The Bills pizza was delicious too! They make all the ingredients fresh there and you can taste that! The seasoning on the pizza was excellent! You can BYOB here too. This was a great little place, and ranks in my tops pizza places around!!!
