I have been practicing yoga at Stillpoint Yoga Studio for a few years. The studio is clean, the instructors are knowledgeable, and the community is fantastic. Highly recommended! ~Heather M

Stillpoint Yoga Studios is where I first tried yoga. I spoke with several employees, as well as the owner, Dianne, to get an idea of what to expect before I took my first class. They were all super knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. The main room has a very relaxing feel to it. It is also super clean! You are not allowed to wear shoes on the hardwood flood, and it is cleaned after each class. It is much more than a studio, it is a yoga community. Dianne is always offering free community classes and doing Charity events. I highly recommend Stillpoint whether you are a beginner, or a seasoned yogi.

I signed up for their introductory membership, $ 25 unlimited for two weeks and it has helped me decide if I would like to stay with this studio in the future. The first class I took was the 6:00am Wake-up class and I really enjoyed it. The instructor was patient, helpful and challenging. I was relaxed for the rest of the day and actually got a little bit sore because I took about a month off from yoga. The second class I took was an 8:00 am Saturday class with Candace. The class was a vinyasa flow and thought it went well. At the beginning of class she asked for requests and fulfilled them as were going through the practice. I’m a big fan of hip openers and there was a focus on that along with stretching our legs. Now the cons — I hate the location. It’s in Sweat Fitness so while your body is in rest at the end of your practice you can hear the weight dropping in the room next door and the bass from cycle class going on. The cost. As of now the two week thing is great but it’s a little expensive for what you seem to get. I think this studio is worth checking out and see if it’s a fit for you.

Love it! Good instructors. I come home sore every session! And when I left a voicemail or email they got back to me in 24hrs or less.

Took a great class with Usha. Strenuous vinyasa flow with meditation at the end is a great way to get centered. Beautiful studio. I’ve done yoga for years and found this class very satisfying.

After spying this place for two years since living in KOP area, I finally popped into this place recently for a drop-in. It’s in a little shopping center, and upstairs, so it’s sort of hard to figure out how to get in at first, but it’s worth the effort. I’ve been practicing yoga on and off(sometimes very on, and sometimes very off) for about… six years now. Stillpoint is among my favorite spots for the people, the ambience, and the quality of instruction. The owners/instructors I’ve met, Jack & Debra, are both just so genuinely nice and welcoming. They’ve put a nice schedule together, with two studios — one is for more gentle/restorative classes, and the other is for the more challenging ones. The rooms are amazing — painted really carefully with beautiful tones, stained glass windows, candlelit, etc. Perfect for the mental part of yoga that I think is so key. I’ve only been going for a month or so, but I feel like I’ve taken a variety of classes and really enjoyed every one. They give adjustments not just to give adjustments, if you know what I mean. It’s those poses or scenarios when you know something is off, and it’s like they’ve already noticed it and are already there to help you. They’re also very encouraging, and non-judgmental, which is so important when you’re doing something new, or in a new place. I literally feel like I’m glowing when I leave this place — that’s how good the energy is there. Check this place out! Namaste… :)
