We like to order from Papa Johns because of the consistent food quality: it isn’t always the best but it’s predictable. We also travel a lot for work so, when we don’t feel like going out, we’ll order to the hotel. I placed an order … then read these terrible reviews. I was pretty concerned. My email said to expect delivery in 50 — 60 minutes; after reading the reviews, I was expecting a wait of an hour or more. About 40 minutes in, I get a call from the front desk informing me the driver was at the front desk and he would come to my room. The order was delivered before the scheduled time and the order was accurate, hot and, unpredictably, better than usual. Maybe we’re just unusually hungry … and I ordered thin instead of regular crust. Whatever … I’m happy. And it was nice for the driver to make the long walk to my room.

Terrible service. I called 10:30PM and was told that it would take 55 – 65 minutes. By 12:00 midnight it did not arrive. I called them up and I was told that I put the wrong phone number and wrong hotel room number. I know I put the right numbers. I triple checked everything being that I was in a hotel room. He then told me no problem it’ll be on its way. I called again at 12:40 and was told that the driver is now on his way. The pizza finally arrived and it tasted old. Papa Johns is usually great but this particular store isn’t. I now understand why the ratings on this store is so low. Service that lies.

I just had the worst experience attempting to get a pizza from this Papa John’s. I called to place my order and was told it would be 30 minutes until it was delivered. After 45 minutes passed, I called to check on my order and was told that they were very busy with deliveries, but it should be delivered soon. After an hour and 15 minutes, I called again and was told it would be 5 – 10 minutes at the most. When that time passed, I called again to cancel my order. I spoke to a manager who said he would check on it right away, and I provided my address. He checked and told me they had the wrong cell phone number and credit card number, so our pizza was in fact not on its way. There was no explanation as to why this was not explained or resolved on either of my previous calls and the person on the phone did not even apologize.

This is the second time i ordered Pizza, never can i expect proper service from these people. I had told them 4 – 5 times that we are vegetarians and ordered a pizza on phone with veg toppings and i was surprised when i received it as it had Anchovies. It was smelly and we had to just trash it. They are so rude on the phone.
Today i ordered it again and waiting for more than an hour now. I called to ask but they hung up on me. I do not like the way they talk.

Not sure what is up with the low star count. My experience here has been nothing but pleasant. Pizza was hot, flavorful, loaded with toppings, and cheap because of the phillies scoring 6 or more runs the previous night.
I was pleased to find that they had a little bar set up with stools incase anyone wanted to eat in the store! This was perfect as we were not near our house and running errands.

This place is UNACCEPTABLE! I ordered a pizza at 9:10 pm and at 10:10 pm I was wondering where my pizza was. So I called and the lady said the guy left 10 minutes ago! So I waited another 10 minutes which gave the guy 20 minutes to get to me and he still didn’t come! So I called her back and said forget it I waited for an HOUR AND A HALF I don’t want your pizza! I’ve never in my life EVER waited an hour let alone over an hour for delivery. May I also add this place was only FIVE MINUTES from where I was staying. RIGHT DOWN THE STREET! Everyone needs to be fired because this place sucks.

The toppings here are definitely skimpy if present at all. At least the workers are nice. But don’t get the pizza here because you won’t get what you paid for.

Finally decided to order a Papa John’s Pizza. After being bombarded with the TV ads and the mailers I gave it a go. Ordered a large Pizza with Sausage, Pepperoni and Mushrooms and a side of wings. Well got the Pizza home opened it up and the first thing I thought of is WHERE ARE ALL THESE BETTER INGREDIENTS!!! The LARGE Pizza had exactly FIVE pieces of mushroom on it and 7 slices of Pepperoni. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! It was dough, some cheese (but not a lot) and a few specs of toppings.
The Wings were very tough and chewy which is rather revolting.
Well Papa John, better ingredients MY ASS, I won’t be back!!!
