Very disappointed. We ordered breakfast, when it came in less than 5 minutes the food was cold on the sides and hot in the middle. Clearly it was microwaved. When I dine at an eat in establishment with a hotess and servers I really do expect my food to be made to order not cooked hours ago.

See previous reviews. Cheesesteak 4⁄5. Great roll. Good meat. Could have used a little more cheese. Pizza fries 5⁄5. Very good, with plenty of cheese and plenty of sauce. I always like that they use steak fries. Crab soup 3⁄5. Tasty but watery and peppery. Turkey platter 4⁄5. Huge. Tasty. Brownie sundae 5⁄5. Awesome brownie. Hershey’s ice cream. Service 4⁄5. Very good until the check came and then the waitress disappeared. Had to pay up front even though they don’t like that.

The food here is actually really good. Service is atrocious. I’ve been here multiple times when the waitresses and hostess are fighting with each other in front of the entire restaurant. It’s extremely unprofessional. I’ve also seen their bus boys behave better than the hostess/owner/waitress so they should take a page out of their book to learn better customer service. At one point the hostess with the white hair stopped in the middle of the restaurant and yelled«I can’t do this anymore!!» My most recent experience was particularly bad. Our waitress acted annoyed about taking our orders and did not look us in the eyes once. our apps were not delivered prior to our food. Multiple tables surrounding us were also experiencing issues with the timeliness of their food and one guy even got up and went to the kitchen to service himself and was yelled at. We are torn about returning. Food is awesome but it’s hard to say if it’s worth putting up with the service. Take out might be the best option.

Waited for 30 minutes for food after ordering. Food came to the table warm, not hot. Coffee cost 2.50 for a cup, extremely expensive. I asked for more coffee when the food was brought to table. After waiting ten minutes, I walked to kitchen entrance to get more. I was yelled at by the hostess/owners wife. Poor service, poor food standards. I will not be back.

On a Sunday morning, we ordered the smoked fish platter, half an hour later, after all the later arrivals around us were getting their hot meals served, our platter was no where; waitress apathetic, asked to talk to the manager, no one showed up; they lost a $ 30+ order. Never again!

Quick service, very nice wait staff. Wasn’t thrilled with the Greek omelette(seemed like the only Greek thing about it was the feta, otherwise it was pretty much an omelette). If you’re looking for quick cheap diner food tho, this place seems like it’ll suit your needs.

Just one of the best Pastrami grilled cheese sandwiches!!! Meat was nice and hot cheese was melted perfectly and the sauerkraut(something I’m not a big fan of at all) was delicious! Definitely recommend trying that sandwich if you don’t know what to order!

Food is good and service is usually the same. My only complaint is it is too noisy! The cart that the bus people use to remove dirty dishes is so noisy when they push it over the tile floor(need softer rubber tires) and then the bus people just throw the dishes on the cart creating unnecessary noise. Also the waitresses are loud, they need to be reminded they work in a restaurant not a sports stadium.

I’ve eaten here in the past and it was what it was. A decent Jewish deli near the mall. Nothing prepared me for tonight. We go into an empty restaurant wait 2 minutes for someone to seat us. The server finds is a table. I place my order. Turkey special Cole slaw and dressing on the side and a thick cut hot NY corned beef extra lean. I ask if that is possible. She says yes. One matzo ball soup and one cabbage soup. The soup was ok. It could have been hotter on a cold night but I’m fine. The sandwiches come out. The Turkey has the slaw and the dressing on it and my sandwich has Swiss cheese. I politely send both back. They come out again, this time my wife’s looks correct and mine is very fatty. If they can’t do extra lean just say so. I send mine back once again ask for a box and a check. The manager«owner»? Stops over to apologize but there is no consoling me. To her credit she would not let me pay. I was more then happy to to pay. Then I wouldn’t feel so bad about writing this. To top it off my wife gets home goes to eat her sandwich and the bread is stale. Come on, really? I’ve been eating deli my whole life. This is the single worst deli experience ever.

Don’t go famished because you will leave hungry. The food is good but portion size is pathetic. If your going here for a New York Deli type experiance you will not find it here. In fact I ordered the New Yorker and was very disappointed the bread was thicker than the meat.

I have eaten here hundreds of times over the last 30 or so years, and continue to do so about twice a month. It is really a Jewish Deli and diner-like restaurant in one. Service is generally good. Any issues are always addressed promptly and correctly, though I usually do not have any. My favorites are the Ruben and the cheesesteak omelette. I no longer like the potato skins, as they are frozen and contain cheese-whiz. The fries, which are steak fries, are good and make great pizza fries. I love the brownie sundae with great Hershey’s ice cream. Get that instead of the Dairy Queen next door. They have a large beer selection, which is also available for takeout, but be sure to check out the date on the bottle. The Jewish Deli is good. I really like the knishes. I have used, and recommend their deli platters. Delivery can be slow. The eating area could use an update or renovation, but I go for the food, not the décor. Prices are very reasonable. I hope that the food and service stay the same, so I can be a patron for another 30 years.

My wife and I order from here about once a week. The people are very nice, the place is kind of a throwback. Whenever there is an issue with my order they fix it with no attitude. This place is an institution.

Their menu has some items you wont find anywhere else. The quality is good. But it’s very pricey and portion size can be skimpy. The servers are nice but slow. My club sandwich was missing a key ingredient that i didnt notice at first. The server never checked back and was not to be seen. She apologized but that was it. It seems nobody is really watching the store. I won’t go back.

Ate here today for the first and last time. Service was atrocious, and the food was mediocre. I can get a better bagel at a supermarket. Pickle bar? The«pickle bar» consisted of 2 kinds of pickles, salsa(???) and sweet peppers. If you want a real Jewish deli, check out Ben and Irv’s in Huntingdon Valley.

Great little spot with diner like food. Great breakfasts and Ruben sandwiches.

Almost $ 10 for a small sized Reuben. No pickle, chips, nothing with it. Not a bad reuben, but seriously. If I’m gonna spend $ 13 on lunch, some chips and a pickle would be nice.

Yikes!!! This place is a hot mess! I actually stopped using them for a couple of years for our company lunches because they have awful customer service. Well, I thought I’d give them a chance because one thing they had going for them was that you could order online and they have good pickles BUT low and behold, I put my order in online but then you have to call the restaurant to give a credit card(so what’s the point of ordering on line if you have to call). Our order comes and a sandwich and tea is missing. The manager was of zero help as she just said«The sandwich wasn’t on the order». Yes, it was. She said we’ll make a new one and bring it right over… That was 23 minutes ago and still no sandwich. Meanwhile we have a hungry guest who only has a certain amount of time left on his lunch break and nothing to eat! Do you think she even tried to compensate for their error? Nope!!! This was the same response that I got a couple of years ago when we ordered a sandwich platter for 30 people. Michael’s put such a little amount of meat on the sandwiches that the people at the front of the line were taking off the meat from 2 or 3 sandwiches to make a decent sandwich and we ran out of food with 10 people not getting any lunch. I called the manager and all she would say is «I was there when the sandwiches were being made and they were fine». Big Whopper of a mistake to give them a second chance. Update: Our missed sandwich just arrived. I called them at 11:38 to let them know that they missed a sandwich and iced tea and they said it would be sent out immediately… 55 frigging minutes later the sandwich has arrived. Unbelievably bad service.

The reviews before me got this right, dependable quality food and service. Kind of like a friendlys inside, but with better food. The pickle bar offers a ton of different pickles, some of which are VERY good. The sandwiches are on point– and always please. They also have a nice selection of craft beers. I typically go with the reuben and have always been very pleased.

This is my go-to deli for lunch in the King of Prussia area. Dependable quality food, friendly service, and a great selection.

The beer is old. And when I say old. I mean very old. I bought a very popular beer from this place(Lagunitas Sucks), and it tasted like garbage — sooo old. It’s clear that they don’t have high turnover with their beer. The food is good, a bit pricey, but worth it. They advertise that they have over 500 beers, but I’d rather go to Wegmans — it’s piss poor.

This place is okay. There is not too many places around here. I will choose cracker barrel in a heartbeat though.

I agree with other Unilocalers that the prices are a bit high here but I promise it is well worth it. Have had the corned beef special and the Reuben and they both just rock. The corned beef is plentiful and incredibly flavorful. On the Reuben, the sandwich overflows win meat, fried sauerkraut and a great creamy Russian dressing. The rye bread is perfectly grilled. It’s worth getting w loaf of rye to go but the sandwiches just never taste the same at home. The fries and onion rings are both crispy and well seasoned. Love the matzo ball soup — great chicken broth. Have tried the cabbage soup and it wasn’t great but maybe it’s just not my thing. My other favorite is the pickle bar — such a great touch and something to snack on until your food arrives. I hear they have breakfast and other sandwiches and entrees but can’t bring myself to try anything but the amazing corned beef.

I think this is one of those places«that has always done it that way»…a $ 13 salad with rotten tomatoes and shriveled cucumbers. It was take away so I didn’t know the condition of the mis-treated vegetables until it was too late. I love supporting independent business however in this case not something I wish to revisit. The salmon was a bit over cooked as well.

Best Jewish deli around. Free pickle bar, fast service, great food, reasonably priced, well stocked beer store. The grilled reuben is just so delicious and I’ve never had a bad experience here.
